Altai Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 He was not an ordinary "tourist", he was the prime mover of creating a domestic social platform in Turkiye. According to the news he was murdered by "thieves" but it is quite suspicious when we consider how effective it would be to create a Turkish social media platform and power loss of Facebook and Twitter in Turkiye.http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/breaking-news/os-man-dead-wyndam-resort-20160908-story.html Quote "You cant ask people about their belief, its none of your business, its between them and their God but you have to ask them whether or not they need something or they have a problem to be solved." ?Impact Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 Zuckerberg is quite sleepy, but murder? I think the conspiracy theorist is working overtime. Quote
Altai Posted September 8, 2016 Author Report Posted September 8, 2016 Is not it also interesting that the news is given with "tourist" title and they dont even mention he was a professor at Bogazici the number one Turkish University. bush_cheney2004 Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 I don't think the armed robber cared...."your purse or your life". Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
segnosaur Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 Is not it also interesting that the news is given with "tourist" title and they dont even mention he was a professor at Bogazici the number one Turkish University. There might be a couple of reasons for that: - News (in general) tends to be very... localized/geocentric. (I.e. people tend to care more about local events than international.) Journalists covering the story may have been more keen to concentrate on the 'Tourist' angle because it would be of more interest to those in the U.S. - Its also possible that some stories were written before anyone had a chance to identify the details of the victim's life. (After all, you want to get the story out quickly, and it would take time to build up a detailed profile about who he actually was, and who he worked for.) Quote
