Trudeau actually taught school. Harper worked in the mailroom.

Holy F. You have zero debating skills. Instead of actually arguing what was said (ie. showing that Calgary was in fact a reputable school, contrary to what you said), you in turn just go back to your initial comment that really equates to a childish comeback like "Ya....well you're a poo poo head"

I could re-list what Trudeau and Harper each did as a comparison but you would just answer with 'woozy wazzy'.

That hoary old fairy tale again.

And luckily we seem to have moved beyond that hoary old fairy tale. Although we still seem to be plagued somewhat by it. The fossils got all excited last week when oil hit $40 for a few minutes before falling back.

And it seems your debating skills begin with a "Holy F", and proceed to "woozy wazzy" Now let me ask, did you perhaps study English at University of Calgary?

Oh really? Can you demonstrate which Liberal policies they've implemented in the last uh, four months, which have moved Canada beyond a single industry economy you claim (with zero evidence) that we had under Harper? Bear in mind they haven't even delivered a budget yet, and their ministers can barely find the toilets.

The fact is that "all the eggs in one basket" never had an iota of truth to it. The only reason progressives believed in it was that they themselves were fixated on the oil industry, and know next to nothing about the Canadian economy.

"A liberal is someone who claims to be open to all points of view — and then is surprised and offended to find there are other points of view.” William F Buckley

You respond with a Holy F after dealing with childish antics like the ones you've demonstrated.

True enough, I'm not quite familiar with all the click buttons here. My apologies. now what were you trying to convince me about Harpers CV vs Trudeaus?

Liberals think with their hearts and not their minds , it's really not their fault.

Keep in mind that not all Liberals are the same. I do believe in the spectrum for right and left with far rights and far lefts being on either end. The reality is that most Canadians are a lot closer to the middle even if they are on the right or left side. So with that said, I would call myself a Conservative but I probably align closer to some Liberals than extreme Conservatives.

No convincing needed. I could show you that grass is green and if you don't want to hear it then you won't.

The talking points are all there. Harper received a Masters in Economics. I don't care what you or anyone else says....that shows intelligence and commitment to a point that not many people can do it. He went on to use his education as the President of the NCC which has a mission of reducing government involvement. I can understand that not everybody would agree with this basis of this group or what it stands for but you can't tell me his involvement here is equal to being a camp councillor or even a drama teacher.

No offense to teachers, but its not extremely difficult to become a teacher. Its difficult to be a good teacher and to have the perseverance to remain teaching. However, Trudeau showed that he didn't as he quit three years later. He tried getting and Engineering degree and quit that two years later.

Electing Trudeau has to be one of the largest gaffs in Canadian history. Trudeau is a dullard , nothing more . How can anyone take him seriously when he makes comments like " We will grow the economy from the heart outwards. " " The budget will balance itself. " " Because it's 2015 " and so many more . Trudeau Jr has now delivered a 30 - 40 billion dollar deficit while unemployment is up to 7.2 % . In the private sector he would be on life support but in the world of Liberals and endless money he will raise taxes and probably the GST. Trudeau is on pace to exceed the Conservatives deficit while they where in power for 10 years ( most of those in minority ) in less than 4 short years while we are not in recession. Ontario is a financial disaster because of the Liberals and Trudeau and Butts are sending Canada on the same dangerous and expensive path .

sorry to see your MLW member name got neutered! Being new here you should be aware your talking points on those purposely 'out of context extracts' have been soundly dispatched in prior MLW threads. Nothing sweeter than exposing just how far uber CPC partisans will go in attempting to leverage statements made by isolating them from the broader discussion.

None of that stuff is all that important. A leader does not have to be a technocrat. They need to surround themselves with the right people, and get them to work together, and they need to be able to articulate a vision to stakeholders and be good at convincing others.

That's why putting subject matter experts into leadership/management positions often results in Epic failure. We learned this the hard way in my industry.

Believe it or not, the Liberals might actually have something to show for the debt, unlike Harper's Conservatives.

Trudeau and Morneau are pathetic light weights even among Liberals like Paul Martin let alone Conservative giants like Jim Flaherty . Explain a deficit of 30 - 40 billion when unemployment continues to rise ? Explain how it was prudent to bring a delegation of 388 to Paris for climate talks ? Price tag for that stunt and size of carbon foot print ? Liberals are always good for a laugh except on budget day !

Ha, Paul Martin rated lower than Jim Flaherty - that's a laugh.

bingo! Another opportunity to bust yet another of your talking points... as already done in a prior MLW thread! Ya see, Canada appeared to be the only country that provided numbers to the UN that included press, security and industry personnel. Anyone that naively presumes to speak of 'carbon footprints' in the face of the bigger emissions picture has no game... has no credibility in related discussion!

Who knows? As much as liberals and conservatives are obsessed with this kind of stuff its not really that meaningful. Governments do not make or break economies, they are the mercy of economic conditions. Paul Martin will go down in history as a good MOF but he also had the fortune of presiding over a massive boom.

It WAS explained to you. You ran and hid.

It DOES seem excessive a bit. Sorta like tens of thousands of political elites from around the world coming to Canada during the G7 to bang prostitutes and rack up a billion dollar bill.

What can I say? Our political class loves to treat themselves and their friends very well.

You mention the UN and you think your gaining points . Your as laughable as your feminist debt racking PM Trudeau Jr . Tomorrow will be entertaining , watching Morneau and Trudeau try and weasel out of the mess they have created . It's amazing that some individuals are dumb enough to support proven failure ! How is Ontario fairing with it's 320 billion dollar Liberal debt ? Can't teach stupid !

The Liberals will have racked up more debt in 4 years than the previous government did in 10 years and you make excuses for that performance ? You clearly don't work in the private sector and if you do I doubt it's a job of any significance . It's apologists like you that in power dullards like our moronic PM to destroy this great country .

 ya... I mention the UN... cause... it was a UN conference! Oh my - you are easy!

let's see: you're going for a two-fer here... do you presume to highlight the word 'feminist' in a positive intended manner? Care to clarify why you're using the "Jr" generational suffix to identify the current PM Justin Trudeau?

The UN is a joke , like our pathetic PM. I am guessing you are a university student looking for free education , am I correct ? Only a moron would vote for a Trust Fund Kid to be PM then defend him while he has racked up over 30 billion while unemployment has risen to 7.2 %. This Liberal government is without question the most incompetent government in Canadian history and we are all going to pay a heavy price for it . You will as well , when you get a job and decide to contribute to our society !

pro-tip: if you have a short-timer intent, keep on your current track; however, if you wish to avail yourself of the privilege of future waldo attention, you will need to temper your "passion/enthusiasm" for personalization.
