But at least you seem to be getting onto the idea they made cuts to the financing of the program. Perhaps we made progress with the ath program. Edited June 24, 2015 by On Guard for Thee Quote

Perhaps we made progress with the ath program. Perhaps you've suddenly changed your language to something more realistic. The program is going to continue to grow in the future. It will simply be at a more economically sustainable and lower rate. No deceitful language necessary. Quote

It will simply be at a more economically sustainable and lower rate. No deceitful language necessary. No change in language here. The per capita cash xfer will only serve to widen the gap between have and have not provinces and make national standards of healthcare be much more unlikely. Tying payments to GDP guts the original concept of our healthcare system, but it may be a way to pave the way for privatization, and the horrors we see south of the border. But of course no surprise Harper has a long standing buddy in that business. Quote
Smallc Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 (edited) I still haven't seen evidence of your assertion that the program will be based on provincial growth. It is, from everything I've read, based on a national average. Nice job finally coming to your senses otherwise. Edited June 24, 2015 by Smallc Quote

WWWTT Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 But make no mistake about it. This will hurt the party. They're losing a lot of powerful incumbents. The departure of Comartin and Davies also hurt the NDP! Departures of good members always creates loss. But also create new opportunity! However, I have to strongly agree that high profile potential future leaders of the party leaving is bad bad bad and more bad! We were debating not long ago who was going to step up for the conservatives after Harper leaves. And probably half of the names that were thrown around have now said they're gone! WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Total fail of the moderation on this site! That reminds me, never ask Greg to be a business partner! NEVER!
cybercoma Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 There's always Skippy. .He could be the next leader of the CPC when Harper retires. Quote

It will simply be at a more economically sustainable and lower rate. No deceitful language necessary. We've been over this before Smallc. You maintain the sleazy propaganda line like a true party operative ... rather than an ordinary Canadian concerned about their own health care. These are cuts to the health care dollars available PER PERSON because the small increase does not keep pace with - inflation, and - increasing costs of new technologies and treatments AND - the increasing senior population in need of increasing healthcare. Those can all be predicted and budgeted for. Instead, Harper and you choose to pull a sleazy propaganda stunt. Wait til the baby boomers figure out they're getting fewer health care dollars PER PERSON than previous generations. The Conservatives won't always be able to count on the senior vote as they have in the past either. . Edited June 27, 2015 by jacee Quote

Smallc Posted June 27, 2015 Report Posted June 27, 2015 You'd rather pretend that spending on health can continue o grow faster than revenue. You're definitely not the good Canadian here. Quote

Revenue was torched by the Conservatives themselves. You don't get to swing from Harper's neck, but then complain about the lack of federal revenues. Quote

Canada_First Posted June 28, 2015 Author Report Posted June 28, 2015 So are the NDP who aren't running just greedy as well? Are they just protecting their pensions? Why is it that the left wing are the only ones who are seen to be as good as conservatives are seen as bad? Quote

Insert politician, analyst, advisor or deputy into your equation......it makes no difference. Does Glover get a pension? She still have her job open at RCMP? Wonder how much she has in that fund in comparison. Quote
