cybercoma Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 A valid point if you know we were not in a provincial politics forum discussing Ontario politics. He's saying "no one" complained about the Ontario omnibus bill even though we've complained about Harper's omnibus bill. I complain about Harper because he's my prime minister. I don't complain about Wynne because she's not my premier. Quote
cybercoma Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 I'd complain about Brian Gallant (also Liberal), but there's not enough people from New Brunswick to discuss NB provincial politics. Quote
Ash74 Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 He's saying "no one" complained about the Ontario omnibus bill even though we've complained about Harper's omnibus bill. I complain about Harper because he's my prime minister. I don't complain about Wynne because she's not my premier. Ok but he was saying it on a provincial forum discussing Ontario Politics. Many here complain about Harper while Wynne gets a free pass or defended for much worse (in many cases crimes) while Harper is crucified. Quote “Show me a young Conservative and I'll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old Liberal and I'll show you someone with no brains.”― Winston S. Churchill There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him. –Robert Heinlein
cybercoma Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) Who complained about Harper's omnibus bills but supported Wynne's? Edited June 6, 2015 by cybercoma Quote
Bob Macadoo Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 A valid point if you know we were not in a provincial politics forum discussing Ontario politics. That I agree with. I never tried or could defend the 407 disaster. But the Ontario Liberals are making a bigger one. The 407 can be avoided. Hydro one is a necessity for a majority of the province. Piecing out Hydro was Harris' wet dream......fortunately/unfortunately.....the rogue market waves that occurred when he privatized the energy sector drowned his "Enterprise" so he was forced back to shore. Now that the sector has stabilized (no new boats) we can now sell our boat to vulture.....I mean venture capitalists so they can sail away to the Caymans. Everybody wins.......well anyone who counts does I guess. Quote
Topaz Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Depending were one lives, we can watch C-PAC and know what the feds are up to but the government of Ontario, many TV watchers don't get to watch it on the TV and so we aren't as informed. I did watch it until the former Star Choice, took it off their menu because of low ratings????? Quote
