No, that would be a cartel, like Singapore, or several Soviet bloc countries. A single party in effect presents different faces.

My argument all along has been that the differences between the two U.S. parties are so small as to be insignificant.Which kinda defeats the purpose of a pluralistic system, no?

I suspect Bush's recent victory speech was mere window dressing. He has no intention of co-operating with Democrats.
