Michael Hardner Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Where you live is irrelevant. You are by all measures rich. Your income taxes alone are nearly double the household income of 50% of Canadians. Where you choose to live and how you spend your money is inconsequential. It's hard to find people who think they're rich. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner
cybercoma Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 It's hard to find people who think they're rich. That's because the distribution of wealth is sharply exponential. People who are many times richer than the average Canadian can point to someone above them who is many more times richer than they are. Even in the 1%, of which Argus belongs, the top 0.1% makes him look like a fast food worker by comparison. Quote

I earn somewhere between what a judge and a surgeon would earn. That's chump change to a CEO pulling in $10-25 million a year, much less the really wealthy people who are, more and more, using their money to control society, the multi-billionaires. And in any event, what is the government giving me? Nothing but tax bills.
