Derek 2.0 Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 Very good. You are correct with the calibre. Of course I am, I actually own several examples of the platform, well also actually training with their select fire cousins....... Quote
Derek 2.0 Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 They sure did. Have you evr heard of the acronym SPORTS? Sure.....and which letter applies to the forward assist? Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 Sure.....and which letter applies to the forward assist? If you really had you would know that none of them do Quote
Derek 2.0 Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 If you really had you would know that none of them do I know......you clearly don't. Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 I know......you clearly don't. Can you quote what SPORTS stands foir? Com' on, you pretend to be an expert, it should just roll off your tongue. Quote
Derek 2.0 Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 Can you quote what SPORTS stands foir? Com' on, you pretend to be an expert, it should just roll off your tongue. Slaps, pulls, observes, releases, taps, squeezes........... Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 Slaps, pulls, observes, releases, taps, squeezes........... Pretty close. The last S is either shoot or safety, depending on if you're just on patrol in "bad boy" country or in a full on fight. Otherwise well done. Quote
Derek 2.0 Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 Sure.....and which letter applies to the forward assist? Still waiting...... Quote

Otherwise well done. No, the last "S" is to squeeze the trigger........if you were going to safe the gun, you'd perform remedial action. So, do you know now, which letter applies to the forward assist? Clearly if you knew what you were talking about, namely clearing a A-15/M-16/M-4 platform in battlefield conditions, applying immediate action, you'd understand the importance of the forward assist. Well at XE the S is for just what I said. On patrol you want to be loaded but you don't want to accidently shoot your buddy ahead of you. Quote

More BS.......Immediate action and the use of the forward assist is only applied when in contact with an enemy and the stoppage is life or death....if you were concerned with safety, performing remedial action is the safer taught method to all involved, well ensuring your rifle is in proper working order. If you ever get the chance to go the Moyock let me know, I have a bunch of unused meal tickets you can have. Make sure you take a soft sleeping bag though. Quote

On Guard for Thee Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 One observes the ejection of a live round/spent cartridge, ensuring the chamber is clear of blockage. Close. One observes a live round has correctly arrived in the chamber. Keep in mind this is an excersize you do before you shoot so there would not yet be a spent round stuck somewhere yet. Quote

No......SPORTS is designed to address a weapons malfunction........The first "S" is to ensure the follower is working correctly, with "P" bringing a new round to battery..... Quote

Nope. SPORTS is designed to address if you would perhaps pick up a weapon you weren't sure of and how to make it functional. The first "S" is to make sure the clip is firmly in place. You are correct on the "P" After that the "O" ensures the round has arrived in the chamber correctly. Quote

No......SPORTS is for a malfunction with an M-16 family of rifle........... When you first pick up any firearm, you PROVE it safe..... The "O" in SPORTS is observing a live round/spent casing leaving the chamber after you've Pulled ("P") the charging handle back.......The "O" in PROVE is to observe the chamber is clear. Quote

Well they have a different version of it at Moyock. As I pointed out before, there version of it you do before you fire. And the last "S" you choose depending on how soon you may think you might fire. Quote

You're full of it.......Outside of a weapons malfunction, nobody would apply the forward assist unnecessarily to a M-16/AR-15/M4 rifle…….. You're waaaaay out of your depth on this subject mater, and your continued line of BS doesn't fool anyone that has actually operated a M-16/AR-15/M4 rifle.... Now, care to explain why sight alignment & picture would play a factor in the police shooting of Brown? Quote

But as I say if you ever get the chance to go get some real training I'll fwd those unused meal tickets from XE. Food's great. So's the training. They fire a million rounds a month they continue to brag about while you're there. Quote

No it's not.........FM 3.22.9 of the US Army field manual, and has been applied by all users of the M-16 family since the incorporation of the forward assist after the initial failures in the field during Vietnam………. I have forgotten more on the subject of firearms then you will ever gleam by reading the posts of others on your video game forums!!!! How does Blackwater apply SPORTS to their SOCOM M-14s, AK-47s, Wilson Combat 870s, Mossberg 590A1s and M-9/92Fs ?????? Quote

Well the they must have changed it since I was there, although I doubt tha,t so go play your video games. But like I say if you ever get to the real world, take a good sleeping bag. Those beds at tehBlackbear Inn are hard. Quote

And no, I don't play video games, fore (outside of the AK) I own (Multiple) variants of the actual guns that you claimed (very poorly) to have used during your bogus claimed period of employment at Blackwater!!!! Now please, explain how sight alignment and picture would have been applied by officer Wilson during the shooting of Michael Brown……..be it Brown advancing or retreating to/from Wilson….
