August1991 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxime_Bernier Fair enough. He's "Minister of State" - which is presumably better than "Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister... " How many Vice-Presidents does the Royal Bank of Nova Scotia/Montreal/Toronto have? ---- IMHO, Bernier/Alexander are not in cabinet. I suspect that after the next shuffle, Maxime Bernier and Chris Alexander will be in Cabinet, together, sitting around the same table Politics. Whatta game. Quote

A Minister of State is still in cabinet, unlike a Parliamentary Secretary. Quote
August1991 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) A Minister of State is still in cabinet, unlike a Parliamentary Secretary. And a Minister of State has a driver/limo too... unlike a Parliamentary Secretary. ---- I think that I prefer the Maine State Legislature system where members earn $14,000 per year. Smallc Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 I think that I prefer the Maine State Legislature system where members earn $14,000 per year. Ummmm, not for a country of 35M people...and it isn't really a limo that they get, it's just a car. Quote
