Guest Peeves
Selective monitoring may be needed, but not exclusively from USA attacks please and thank you. It has certainly been made well known that certain countries will get more attention from UN bleeding hearts than others. Darfur or Gaza for instance. Russia or China, or ...well you get the idea. Any UN report will be biased anyway, ya think? The United Nations is to set up a dedicated investigations unit in Geneva early next year to examine the legality of drone attacks in cases where civilians are killed in so-called "targeted" counter-terrorism operations. http://www.guardian....s-drone-strikes "[it is] alleged that since President Obama took office at least 50 civilians were killed in follow-up strikes when they had gone to help victims and more than 20 civilians have also been attacked in deliberate strikes on funerals and mourners. Christof Heyns … has described such attacks, if they prove to have happened, as war crimes. I would endorse that view." DogOnPorch
As I asked in the other thread....what exactly is a civilian in Waziristan, anyways?
Mr.Canada
Obama gives his signed approval for any and all drone strikes.
Guest Peeves
As I asked in the other thread....what exactly is a civilian in Waziristan, anyways? As I read, most of the serious criticism is over the second strike at a target when medical aid and/or civilian family run in to assist. Apparently the USA has adopted the terrorist policies of a second attack targeting responders?
