Canuckistani
How do I include a quote in a reply to another poster? IE that poster has a quote in their post. When I click on reply, that quote is obliterated, but often the posters reply doesn't make sense without the original quote. Thanks

Thanks Go back to the original post in the chain of quotes you wish to reference or include and hit multiquote button in each one and then add reply when you get to the most recent or last. Canuckistani
Go back to the original post in the chain of quotes you wish to reference or include and hit multiquote button in each one and then add reply when you get to the most recent or last. Thanks, What a pain in the ass. I've figured out another way that doesn't require scrolling to find the original post.
cybercoma
If you want to embed the quotes, you'll have to do it manually. Go back to the original quote, then cut and paste it into notepad or something. Go to the post that it's supposed to be embedded into, hit quote, then copy and paste the quote from notepad into the quoted post where it's supposed to be. cybercoma
Example of above: Go back to the original post in the chain of quotes you wish to reference or include and hit multiquote button in each one and then add reply when you get to the most recent or last. Thanks, What a pain in the ass. I've figured out another way that doesn't require scrolling to find the original post. Keep in mind that they eliminated this from happening automatically because it clutters up threads pretty quickly if everyone starts doing it. I would keep that kind of quoting to a minimum and be sure you trim down the posts to only include the pertinent parts that you're replying to.
