Guest Derek L Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 The last thing I need to do is to adjust the front sight. I think I need one of these: http://www.sksstocks...-p/ncs-tak-.htm And maybe one of these: http://www.sksstocks...uk-sm39002-.htm or these: http://www.sksstocks.../lll-mbs-1-.htm Do you know of any Canadian shops that carry these accessories? I assume that Canada Customs will go ballistic if I try to order firearms accessories from abroad. I have seen the barrel-end bore sighting kit on Wholesale Sports, but not the other stuff. Also, do you have any thoughts on the question of cartridge-style bore sighting lasers vs barrel-end bore-sighting lasers? -k Try here: http://www.marstar.ca/html/home.html As for buying items from the States, it's more the Americans that are tight on export parts, as such you need a dealer with all their export papers: I use these guys for everything: http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Manufacturers/SKS-33493/5966-41999/PartsList-34151.htm They can only ship orders up to $200, and if you order a part that they can't ship up here, they'll inform you prior so no need to worry about an RCMP ERT waking you up one morning. As to the lasers, I don't use them.........From a table at the range, I'll use a couple sand bags for support, then a spotting scope on a tripod to adjust after each shot.........alot more fun that way Quote

GostHacked Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 That's interesting, my mommy didn't mind me having a real guns when I was kid………You have no hobbies or interests as an adult? How boring. Some hobbies are more constructive than destructive. Quote
Guest Derek L Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 Some hobbies are more constructive than destructive. Aside from paper and the odd animal how is my hobby destructive? What’s more violent, those that target shoot and hunt or those that play violent, graphic video games for hours on end? Quote

Guest Derek L Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 Don't tell me you're gonna go off about violent video games being the cause of gun violence are you? No, but what's a more violent "hobby"? Shooting tin cans and paper with a real gun, or playing a game depicting modern combat? My teenager has the one game for his XBOX where you play online with other “shooters” and the sole goal of the game is to “kill” each other………Christ, you can even get a controller that looks like an M4 with EOTech HWS…….
