Topaz Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 I've reading off and on about SNC-Lavalin problems, and after reading an article about them, I'm wondering why some many CEO`s are so greedy and dishonest. This story also has a connection to a Tory Senator, which surprised me of this particular senator. This story could also apply to governments and their dishonesty and usually they don`t pay the price for it, like a citizen would, this story just give the CEO a bonus. http://www.thestar.com/business/article/1157866--olive-snc-lavalin-s-self-reported-high-moral-ground-demands-more-on-ethical-breach Quote
Michael Hardner Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 In context, this story seems to be about bribing foreign officials. That's a problem everywhere, including the G7. Legitimized bribery is also part of the problem in Canada and the US in the form of campaign donations. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner
