madmax Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 They're milking that man's death for all it's worth. I believe they are reaffirming the vision and direction of Jack Layton will not be set aside. Hardly any different from the NDP using previous leaders to deliver a message. Jack Layton spent his time focusing on Tommy Douglas and quoted Tommy Douglas... for all it was worth. Courage My Friends.. The ad is ok as far as ads go. I am certain the Conservative Attack machine will size it up and locate the juggular. I believe the Liberals will have a tougher time addressing this ad. So.. its about par for the course.. and one step up on the previous opposition leaders of Dion and Ignatieff. Quote
cybercoma Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Welcome to the Brave New Canada, where we live in a perpetual election campaign. Ridiculous. Thanks a lot, Stephen Harper. Quote

Yet when the Liberals bring up Trudeau and Laurier or say how they balanced the budget in the 90s people bitch and complain, I've heard this from Dippers which is ironic. Quote

Might be because not everyone was a fan of Trudeau. Go on Newfoundlander call him Taliban Jack, or go after the man voted by the public the greatest Canadian Tommy Douglas. Harper built a statue of Deif and I didn't complain I kinda liked Deif that man at least listened. Quote
