How can anyone with multiple properties be allowed to vote in any riding they have a utility bill for?

How can anyone be allowed to show up and use a hand written paper to vote and no copies of that paper are taken?

This election is a sham from beginning to end and the proper anti fraud measures that were required were definitely not in place. Why is that? incompetence or dishonesty?

I don't know how they got away with it,I've had to show TWO proofs of ID, one with a picture.

The guy who made the video is an idiot. You can't move any votes, every one counts. You never know how things will bear out on election day, sometimes very secure seats end up changing hands. No party would ever risk 'moving' voters to another riding. You want every vote in every riding.

That doesn't mean things are all above board though, far from it. The cheating that goes on is much more over than that: people voting multiple times, directing vulnerable people as to how to vote, ballot box stuffing, rigging the counts, etc all happen.

Security and verification of voting in Canada is a joke, and has been for generations. Wide spread irregularities are reported at almost every election for as long as I can remember.

The only thing we can really do is volunteer to be a scrutineer for the whatever party you support. That's what I do. I stay at the polling station observing the voting process, and especially observing any irregular behaviour by Elections Canada officials or any shenanigans by the opposition. In our riding, there were lots of unsubstantiated allegations for years against the incumbant MP. As soon as we started putting scrutineers at every poll, our candidate starting winning by pretty wide margins. That doesn't mean he was cheating, but it certainly reinforced our determination to keep a vigilant watch.

It is very possible. However strategic voting is no new. People should be able to vote in whatever riding they'd like so as long as it is their representative - although currently the basis is that it is their primary residence - for instance students can vote in their home riding or their school riding.

It does explain the issue the other issue is two to three left of centre parties.

The conservatives are a united right but they represent only a minority of Canadians. It is absolute BS they are let run the country as a majority government when they don't represent a majority of Canadians.

This is just like Iraq where the Sunni's ran a majority shiite country.
