This bears it out. In the news story, where does it say anything about the flight crew from the MND’s flight lying about anything? Are you suggesting the Military is fabricating the reference to the Liberal MP’s flight? You got a hunch or something? Quote

They wasted money, then they lied to cover up even involving our Military to assist in that. Having said that, at least they all got a taste of what life is like in Ottawa. If the Military brass are busy digging through logs to help out the Conservatives it's not a huge leap to believe that the flight crew did as they were told and said what they were supposed to. It's common sense, if the Brass across the country are running around trying to find dirt on Opposition MP's to "help" the CPC, why would it be a stretch to see the Flight Crew on TV repeating the lie? What makes you think the “brass” or the flight crew have anything to gain by lying? And what lie are you talking about? Are you suggesting the military as a whole is partisan? They aren’t elected. Also, a request of flight logs isn’t a Herculean effort, and once the said request was made, would take a clerk at the Squadron a couple of hours…….. Should the flight logs of the Liberal (or any NDP member) be classified? If the MND took a half hour ride, what justification does the LPC have in criticising him when their member spent 5hrs? Quote
