Shady Posted October 6, 2011 Report Posted October 6, 2011 Both were obvious observations, eh? Makes me wonder why you felt the need to point it out regarding the two Americans, three on occasion, who post here. I wouldn't waste your time AM. It's like trying to have a discussion with a child. Wilber Posted October 8, 2011 Report Posted October 8, 2011 (edited) Personally I think people who operate serious grows in residential neighbourhoods should serve real time. They destroy neighbourhoods. I am in the process of selling our home and looking for another. The number of ex grows for sale is depressing. See a house advertised at 70K below assessed value. 99% chance it was a grow. They can only be sold to people who can pay cash and afford the renos because banks won't touch a home that has had a grow when it comes to writing a mortgage. One guess who is likely to have a lot of cash. There is what used to be a beautiful home on an acre lot a few doors down from us that had a doctor and a stock broker as previous owners before the ones who turned it into a grow. Now the bank has foreclosed on it, the house and yard are a mess and there are trees growing in the swimming pool. Disgusting.
