WWWTT Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 More revisionist nonsense! The caucuses of both the BQ and Reform use to have regularly scheduled hockey games together during the cold Ottawa winter. I rather doubt if the BQ would have participated with people that were demonizing them! Pull something else out of your butt! Should prove interesting! Where were you during the 90's? Do you not remember the reform running political adds during election time demonizing politicians from Quebec? Nice selective memory you have there Wild! And using a sporting event to judge someones political beliefs is a big stretch man! As far as pulling things out of my butt....you seem to be doing real good in that department so I'll give you all the room you need buddy. WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Thorn Posted August 23, 2011 Author Report Posted August 23, 2011 Where were you during the 90's? Do you not remember the reform running political adds during election time demonizing politicians from Quebec? You make it sound like that was a regular occurrence. As far as I can remember they did that once, with regard to "we've had enough of prime ministers from Quebec" And I don't blame them. Quebecers had been PM for something like thirty of the previous thirty five years, all while the West was largely shut out of power. Quote
punked Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 No I agree. There is no way Firewall Alberta Harper would be mad that a party wants to separate from this country. That flip flop happened much later. Quote

During the first Christmas of WWI,the British and German troops played footbal(soccer) against each other. bloodyminded Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 I read in these forums that whining is a national sport in Québec... I'd say that in return, whining about Québec probably is Canada's. I"m afraid I got to give you that one. Fair enough. Tilter Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 How Do NDP supporters in BC, AB and ON justify pandering to Quebec I guess they do it in the same manner that the liarbrills have done it since confederation, by being politicians (see; panderer in the dictonary--- same word, different spelling Quote
