I dunno, Jack is 4 years away from being Prime Minister. I think Jack stays on through then, and if he isn't successful in the 2015 elections, he retires, but if he is, he becomes prime minister for 3 years before handing it off to Mulcair.

Actuallt rhe NDP have a history of electing a female leader so you have to give a serious look at the ladys.

And with the new youth MPS from Quebec will be a powerful commanding force for decades to come!

But Jack is only 61 so he actually has a good 7-8 yrs of scrapping left in him!

With people that should be nowhere near politics.Like the lady bartender that could not campaign because she could not speak french, never should up and went to vegas ,where they said she still was last nite, or the communist that took out cannon, and the rest of harper cabinet that was in quebec, they don't have any say anymore.

The fact that this lady got to be a candidate for the NDP in the first place speaks volumes about their selection process.NOBODY can tell me this person is even remotely qualified for this position.

As for the Communist,he is a perfect fit for the NDP.

By the way,I think memories of Bob Rae helped the Conservatives in Ontario in a big way.

Probably not...but they were never going to win that riding. The reason they would run a candidate there is simply to increase their campaign spending limit.

Everyone gets the benefit of the doubt until they screw up.Being in Vegas does not qualify but but not help aswell.

As far as Bob Rae goes give it up.He was the victim of the early 90's recession just like Brian Mulrooney and was re-elected.

It can be even argued that the liberals would have done better under his guidance.

McGuinty was the real screw up since the liberal demise was focused in Ontario
