Battletoads Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Fantino...cop...Toronto...yeah, that's it. The guy is a spineless weasel. A quick glance at how he handled the Caledonia situation ill tell you how much integrity he has. Quote "You can lead a Conservative to knowledge, but you can't make him think."
Rick Posted May 2, 2011 Author Report Posted May 2, 2011 The story was released by Sun News...ultra right wing, Sun News. These are the same guys that were going to run with a story last week about Ignatieff involvement in Iraq being on the arms side. That information was supplied directly from Harper's former Deputy Chief of Staff Patrick Muttart. It is highly likely that this was not the only information supplied to Sun News either..... But then again where would the Deputy Chief of Staff get that kind of information....from the police? And who happens to be directly involved in the Conservative campaign but non other than Julian Fantino, whom I sure has supplied all kinds of information to the campaign office with dirt on lots of candidates in Ontario.....Hmmmm.....it kinda makes one go hmmmm..... It does seem a bit peculiar that somehow Iggy and Jack had bogus smear campaigns launched against them while Czar Steve had none eh? Swift boat tactics straight out of the Conservatives kissing cousins from down south, the Bush/Cheney/tea party republican's playbook. Quote “This is all about who you represent,” Mr. Dewar (NDP) said. “We’re (NDP) talking about representing the interests of working people and everyday Canadians and they [the Conservatives] are about representing the fund managers who come in and fleece our companies and our country. Rick Posted May 5, 2011 Author Report Posted May 5, 2011 And not so surprisingly, No charges to be laid. Fantino's boys always cover up for their own. Cons helping cons. If the notebooks were police property and he kept them for himself or for a third party, isn't that theft? This "investigation" is typical of the joke of a response which results whenever cops investigate cops. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2011/05/05/pol-layton-opp.html Quote “This is all about who you represent,” Mr. Dewar (NDP) said. “We’re (NDP) talking about representing the interests of working people and everyday Canadians and they [the Conservatives] are about representing the fund managers who come in and fleece our companies and our country.
