Wow someone knows nothing about Political parties in Canada. The socialist caucus Might and I am over estimating here make up 5% of the NDP membership. There resolution fail every convention, and they never make it to the floor. Only and idiot would link to their website and pretend they are some major force in the NDP. As for the Winnipeg Declaration that was a straight endorsement of Capitalist/Mixed market nature of this country. You go read and come back ok because you are one of the most uneducated voters out there. Quote

CANADIEN Posted April 30, 2011 Report Posted April 30, 2011 Interesting that legislation publicly put forward by the NDP is a form of hidden agenda. Quote

scribblet Posted April 30, 2011 Author Report Posted April 30, 2011 Wow someone knows nothing about Political parties in Canada. The socialist caucus Might and I am over estimating here make up 5% of the NDP membership. Wrong, they told me 20% and are running candidates in this election. Someone knows nothing about anything but can only make personal insults, thereby indicating that they are uninformed. So where is the constitution - opaque or transparent - so far - opaque Quote Hey Ho - Ontario Liberals Have to Go - Fight Wynne - save our province

Someone knows nothing about anything but can only make personal insults, thereby indicating that they are uninformed. So where is the constitution - opaque or transparent - so far - opaque Did they tell you scribblet? I'll tell you I go to convention there is a reason why none of their resolutions make it to the floor and why we got rid of the socialist part of the Constitution 2 years after the party was founded. Again I am telling you right now they might and I mean might make up 5% of the membership. You ever hear of the Waffle? It was when we started kicking socialist out of the party. The whole reason we have memberships at all was because Ontario said they needed them in 50s to get rid of the communists. Welcome to party history. Edited May 1, 2011 by punked Quote

So if you got rid of it, please post the constitution so we can see, according to the other links they didn't repudiate previous manifestos. What's the secret ? lukin Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Let's take a look at Saskatchewan. Many years of NDP government = Have Not Province A couple years of Brad Wall's Conservative government = HAVE Province The NDP is bad for those that want to be prosperous. They NDP brings everyone down. It's no coincidence folks. Quote

So if you got rid of it, please post the constitution so we can see, according to the other links they didn't repudiate previous manifestos. What's the secret ? Go read the Regina manifesto which is a socialist document talking about controlled planned economy then read the Winnipeg declaration where we moved to supporting Canada as it stand as a mixed market economy. This happened very early in the parties history. In fact the Winnipeg declaration was passed just two years after the CCF was founded. Yah you phoned an organization which you and I both don't trust with numbers to ask about numbers eh? Conservatives are the best when being hypocrites. Quote
lukin Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Wrong. It became a Have province uner the NDP before Wall took over. Sorry. But, again, you don't know of what you speak. You are dead wrong. Saskatchewan was a dump before Wall came in and cleaned up Calvert's mess. That is the simple truth about Saskatchewan and everyone knows it. Quote

Smallc Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 You are dead wrong. Saskatchewan was a dump before Wall came in and cleaned up Calvert's mess. That's not at all true. I think the determination of have status happened very soon after Brad Wall was elected. That means it had nothing to do with him. Quote

You mean that way? Are you referring to THOSE kinds of lies? Punked, I had quite a bit of respect for someone who came on this board and supported the never-to-be-in-power socialist party...NDP...and did it with fervor. Since this little rise in popularity (for which I will forever be thankful - F T Liberals!), you've turned into a incoherent, rabid dipper. Threatening to "report" slander to "Der Headquarters" over a childish thread. Calling the kettle black when it comes to party attacks. Generally just degrading your discourse here to a very low level of psychobabble riddled with personal insults. It's all pretty disappointing from you. Anyone who thinks the socialist caucus is a big part of the party really hasn't done their homework. They ran a candidate against Jack when we moved to one member one vote guess how much of the vote they got? 1.1% Yah there is a part of the party with real influence. This is smear and scare now.
