New name for liberal Party ?

Recommended Posts

I was an Albertan instead of A Nova Scotian , id truely be tired of all the quebec bullshitt , and all the goverments just thinking about quebec and ontarios problems

AMEN!

I am an Albertan, and I am so tired of how the East treats the West, ESPECIALLY the pompous and arrogant French-Canadians (not all of them are this way, but most of them are) who seem to think it only just that they take a massive amount of our provincial payout, demand equality, and then sustain special status in a country that is majority English =p

I am voting conservative because they have the best chance of kicking the Liberals out, they are more in line with my thinking and my beliefs, and they will represent the West far better in Ottawa than the Liberals have ever done. NDP are simply another kind of Liberal that is even more socialist, so I would rather have liberals in power than them... heck Joe Clark is now shown his true colors for goodness sakes =p

I am more WEST than Alberta; I don't particularly care for the Liberal party but certainly do not want a Bush parrotting Harper representing me.

Joe Clark and the more centralist conservatives may have got my vote but not Harper. We know what happens when you vote for the other party in contention for leadership here in BC; It just keeps getting worse and cost us a small fortune paying off all the outgoing politicians and theri friends.

I am in agreement with Joe Clarke this election. Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. or something to that effect.

Harper sends out hints of his agendas; then retreats. He is either indecisive or hiding something.

We have right wing "Liberals" in BC trying to make the rich richer; the poor poorer; and us middle income earners get to foot the bills.

Joe Clark has been down here in Nova Scotia campaining for the liberals (Scott Brison) , you know the guy that left the conservatives and went liberal .

I think Scott Brison is one of our few openly gay members of parliment , I don't know why Joe has the hots for this Scott Brison guy ,whats been going on in the back of that parliment building any way ? :D

Then its damnably good that in BC about 80%+ of the people are for the right-wing =p

Your no Liberal, your a radical right-wing dude. You dont like change, that is a conservative thing, Liberals are the ones radically changing even Canadian society.

The problem with your logic is that you keep voting in the guys who you KNOW are destroying your country, never giving yourself the chance at something better simply because according to you it can't exist... is that not narrow-minded?

I am in agreement with Joe Clarke this election.  Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know.  or something to that effect.

Joe Clark? I dont trust the guy one single bit, anyone who has the nerve to have lead a party that he would like to be the official opposition at least if not the governing party and then throws his support to a Liberal (which would be the other governing party) does not deserve your vote. He is no different than the Liberals, and if they are the Liberals then why are you voting for them and encouraging furthur corruption and destruction?

He doesn't hide, he simply isn't involved in massive scandals and openly corrupt. Is that a foreign concept to you? He is also anything but indecisive and what is there for him to hide that would matter? He isn't leading the counrty, and he has done an EXCELLENT job at being the official opposition to a majority government =p

Also in regards to your misconceptions on bills and class differences. Thank the Liberals, you should research what idealism favors high taxes with equality payments and welfare. Right-wing ideology promotes individuality and personal accomplishment with as little government intervention and interference as possible (meaning less welfare and less taxes). I think ceasar you may be on the wrong side here ;)

LoL! Yeah, its a disturbing trend... all these gay MPs, makes me fear someday a video turning up on the net 'Canadian MP orgy caught on tape!'

That would sure make us Canadians look better internationally =p

Hawk id vote Conservative , in 90% of all canadian rideings , im only voteing ndp because the local guy lives close and is a friend . I actually was talking to him a few hours ago .

Other then this guy being someone i know well ,the only other reason for me to vote ndp is they say they want an investagaion into this ITQ quota system thats ruining our oceans .

Im not a NDP type person , im a right winger like you and i Hope we do get a conservative goverment , and i only hope they are not an other Brian Marony Gang .

Oh Ya ,Dont turn on the whole east of Canada , Come see us maritimers we got alot of the same problems you got . . And you will find us very friendly to Westerners . Actually alot of my Good friends have been forced to move to Alberta s oil fields by these corrupt liberals ruining our part of the country .

Every one that moves there does well . one i know left here a few short years ago with nothing and now he has been doing very well in alberta ,and i think he is a productive citizen of your provence .

I hate to See our young maritime men have to move west ,But with the corrupt liberal goverment stealing most the wealth around here for their friends its sometimes the only option other then jumping off a warfe with a rock around your neck .

I fear my Son will Someday have to move west too , as they have totaly stolen the fishery from us ,and my family has fished in nova scotia sence 1620 .

Greedy Liberals now own the east and its resources .

Most the resources have been distroyed by their corrupt governing .

Mighty brave of you to take as your guidepost the man with the most ridiculously and consistently bad political judgement in modern Canadian political history.

Too true, we all hope that too xD but also you must remember that since then what we consider 'right-wing' is far over to the left from what it was then... so I doubt that will be a problem, in fact I doubt a conservative government will change much of anything at this point (without a majority government at least) but I know they will keep more ridiculous laws and taxes from being pushed through the house ;)

Oh I dont have anything against the maritimers (other than the islands that keep electing Liberal candidates =p lol) in my opinion if there is a true divider in Canada it is between French and English Canadians.. that is mainly due to this 'equality' where French-Canadians get special status and special rights, no better way to alienate a minority than by trying to give them more rights than the majority xD

But yeah, you guys out there are in similar straights, always overlooked and under-appreciated... same with the agriculture and logging industry out here. We are all in the same boat =*( Personally I am proud of every Canadian province except Quebec, each has its own proud past and history, but Quebec has nothing to be proud of. The fishermen and farmers of Canada went to war with fascism to defend the Frenchmen who in the end took over our country, that is a common bond that alot English-Canadians share (I hate writing English/French-Canadian, but there IS a major difference)

I hate to See our young maritime men  have to move west ,But  with  the corrupt liberal goverment stealing most the wealth  around here for their friends  its sometimes  the only option other  then jumping off a warfe  with a rock around your neck .

Yeah x.x As I said earlier this Liberal government has done more to destroy the unity and prosperity of this country in the last 4 terms than was done in most of Canada's history, and the saddest thing is the left-wing still thinks Canada is better off because of Trudea, Chretien, and now Martin =p

Hope your fishery survives, I know out here alot of cattle ranchers have gone belly up and moved to the states because of this anti-American government we keep re-electing and destroying the good relations we have had with the USA for so long (and which we needed since most of our produce is exported, especially live cattle)

HAWK; yOU GOT IT BACKWARDS; It was Bush and Co that showed anti Candian leanings. It was Bush who repeatedly showed contempt for Canada. It is the USA that refuses to respect the opinions of other countries. It is the USA that refuses to repect NAFTA decisions that come down against the USA in Canada's favour.

It is the USA that refuses to listen to their own appointed panel that said the border should be re-opened to Canadian cattle; that the two industries are so intertwined to be effectively one and the same.

Don't blame the Liberals for not kissing Bush's butt. Why should we send our young men to die in Iraq when the majority of Canadians realized that that invasion was not needed nor wise. We did support the REAL war on the terrorists but not this little side trip to Iraq which will only bring about more terrorism and mistrust from the middle east.

Read something besides the radical Post and other Can west newspapers, tv stations and radio stations.

I just want to make a guess At why America Went To Iraq , and yes i think Canada should of went too .

It was Only Our French populations Loyalty to France instead of ENgland and America that kept us from Going .

Why Bush Went To Iraq ?????

Saddam Husane was A crazy man in complete control of Iraq ,Saddam Beleaved himself to be some sort of a Muslim Prophet type leader .

Saddam Beleave Isreal to be the EvIl Of the Earth , and Saddam before Death to leave him self as a hero in Islam Would of Attacked Isreal .

Isreals Slogan is , Never Again ! why means ,nobody will ever do to us again what Hitler Did , So they loo this earth over for Hitler Types and in Saddam husane they clearly saw one . They could not set there and watch him build to a point he would be very dangerous ,they felt he had to be removed or down the road we would have big trouble .

Bush was looking at , Go to Iraq and Remove Saddam or Isreal would Go them Selfs . If Isreal went them selfs the whole arab world might rise up , andsreal would Be forced to use their 100 pluss nuclear weapons . Bush was in a no win Situation If he set home did nothing , Isreal would haveto do it them selfs and maybe bring world war 3 on this earth . If he went and Took Sadam out the left Wing Tree hugging types would tear him appart before the public . If he even told why hewas going to Iraq , America would Face alot more terism from Islam . It was a no Win situation for Bush .

Canada Should of Been there even though it was a no win situation , as in this troubled world Friends are Hard to find . America has been a Good Neibour ,a hell of alot better then Saddam Hussane would be . England would Stick with us , Australia . these countries Canada can trust .

France ? Did we not fill their country side with young Canadian men s Bodys a few years back saveing their Bacon from the Germans ? Did not England ? Austrailia ?

What do they Do this Time ? Side With Germany

UNSTABLE AS WATER

Bush had to go to Iraq , I know it was a Mess , but he had no Choice The Worlds future was at Stake .

Be glad it was not a bunch of Liberals there only out to steal money from the country .
