Not to change the subject but what exactly does he mean when he talks of this Sikh nation? Is he talking about their land of origin and if so how could Wai Young possibly be better for them?

This isn't a facetious question, I honestly have never heard anything about "Sikh nation" before.

A bunch of religious zealots that want to take 1/4 of India and some of Pakistan to create a Sikh Nation called Khalistan. The terrorist movement trying to push for it is Babbar Khalsa, which was responsible for Air India.

They say Wai Young is better because Ujjal actively campaigns against them, constantly at odds, the reason he was almost beaten to death.

Evidently they think the NDP is not yet a factor, because Young or Wong would be better for them, anything but Ujjal and the negative publicity he brings.

It's amazing to think she's really that blind (stupid?), but it's equally unbelievable to think that she knew what she was doing. What politician wants an endorsement from a terrorist in a riding full of emotion about the issue? It just doesn't make sense that she knew and went through with it all with a huge smile on her face.

Dosanjh is milking the issue for all it's worth because he's running a tight race against her and he's making sure there is an emotional backlash against Wai in the East Indian community.

I don't know, I'm certainly no CPC supporter, but the whole thing seems really strange.

I wouldn't recognize this Malik person if I met him so it would be unfair to me to associate me with his politics ...but I don't live in BC so maybe she doesn't have that excuse...

The problem for Dosanjh is that the East Indian community is split because a lot of them are not pleased with the negative publicity he has generated over the issue. But he doesn't care about that.
