Your link isn't working for me. Nevertheless, the clear answer to your question is "no way." Quote As scarce as truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand. --Josh Billings
Shady Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Nevertheless, the clear answer to your question is "no way." Looks like the answer is absolutely. Republicans have put forth a plan to actually reform entitlements. So far, Democrats have just sat on their hands and watched. Kind of like they did with this fiscal years budget. First time in 30 years congress didn't approve one. Once again it looks like Republicans are doing the heavy lifting. If Democrats don't have the stomach to govern, perhaps they should just go home. bloodyminded Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 (edited) Looks like the answer is absolutely. That Republicans have decided to put principle against the likelihood of their own electability? So your new theory is that the entire Western paradigm of electoral politics has suddenly been radically altered, in a manner quite unprecedented, since the 2010 U.S. elections. Okay, then. Time will tell, I guess. I can almost envy such wide-eyed, worshipful credulity towards powerful political figures. (That's not really true, of course. But I do find it interesting.)
