bloodyminded Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Aristide's ouster was backed by three prominent Western nations, and was illegitimate. Quote As scarce as truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand. --Josh Billings
GostHacked Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Aristide's ouster was backed by three prominent Western nations, and was illegitimate. I am under this impression as well. Canada did what it could to prop up Aristide, and end up taking him out too. Quote
no1ninja Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 I am under this impression as well. Canada did what it could to prop up Aristide, and end up taking him out too. I remember him claiming that US army troops told him at gun point to leave for his own protection... this was met with folks rolling their eyes, but he seemed adamant as if he actually was violated.
