Mr.Canada Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 (edited) What I got from this was the Tories can't do an "in and out" scheme this time around, so they are jumping the gun and using our taxpayers to advertise what they have done for the country. They cheated the other parties in 2006 by overspending 1.3 million in adveristing and that money was carried over to 2008 election. It's too bad that the Liberals have zero credibility in terms of accountability since AdScam defrauded Canadians of $500 million. This money was given under the Liberal Government to grease the palms of their Qc friends. How can Canada trust these people? The IGnatieff Liberals seem to only be interested in gaining power by any means. I'm soon they will again start a new coalition. I hope that they run as a coalition this time instead of trying to steal parliament away because of jealousy right after an election in a bloodless coup. Wilber Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 What I got from this was the Tories can't do an "in and out" scheme this time around, so they are jumping the gun and using our taxpayers to advertise what they have done for the country. They cheated the other parties in 2006 by overspending 1.3 million in adveristing and that money was carried over to 2008 election. Two different issues. I can't remember any government, federal or provincial that hasn't ramped up publicly funded advertising prior to an election being called. I think all parties regard it as some kind of entitlement, unless of course they are in opposition. Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC
