bud Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 the longer israel drags its feet and refuses to recognize that palestinians have rights and also deserve their own state under fair and just conditions, the bigger the chance we'll see the world governments having no option but to take action against the rogue state. the amount of pressure from people from around the world on their governments to take a stance against israel's violations of human rights and international law continues to grow at a fast pace. unless israel smartens up, isael's fate and place in the international community will be the same as its former close friend, apartheid south africa. 26 former top EU officials, including ex EU chief Solana and former German President Richard von Weizsacker, urge world powers to confront Jerusalem over its refusal to obey international law. link Quote http://whoprofits.org/
bush_cheney2004 Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Ummm...sorry..but actual EU officials are a little busy right now with more pressing matters. Funny how crashing economies and riots in the streets can do that. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

dre Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Because the American Fed may not bail them out...again. The American Fed doesnt bail anybody out. Every single penny that insitution disperses to ANYBODY has been borrowed from others. When the Fed "bails somebody out" its really the bond purchasers that are coughing up the cash. In this case countries like China paid the bill. Quote I question things because I am human. And call no one my father who's no closer than a stranger

Its YOU that has homework to do if youre claiming the US Fed bails anyone out. And I have a pretty good idea who buys US bonds... Its mostly US citizens, Pacific Rim nations with large trade surpluses with the US, and oil exporting nations. Quote I question things because I am human.
