Michael Hardner Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Calgary Herald CALGARY - The Alberta government's failure to update a website tracking wait times for procedures is raising red flags for a national body examining the issue. In the past, Alberta had agreed to create and maintain a website to provide information to citizens in a timely manner -- and was one of the better ones at doing so in the country -- but it has now backtracked on that commitment, said Dr. Lorne Bellan, co-chair of the Wait Time Alliance. "It raises worries about the care being delivered in the province," he said Thursday, as the alliance released a report on wait times across the country. "It makes you wonder whether the numbers have gotten worse. Why else would someone stop publishing it?" Will Alberta raise more of a noise over healthcare issues than Ontario did over eHealth ? We can only hope so. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner

Hydraboss Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Probably not.... They're too busy saying the country produces cultural crap... Which it does. In a very expensive, taxpayer-funded way. The left-wing PC's in this province are to cowardly to do anything that might actually improve the health care system. Don't expect much from Special Ed and his Merry Band of Morons. geoffrey Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 You could us all a favour and take your whining elsewhere.... Where are you going to get the money to fund your socialist wasteland if Alberta is gone? Ford? Magna International? If we provide the money, we should have a bigger say in where it goes. Your Ontario centric media crap isn't in my tax dollar interest, so it's right for Alberta politicans to be critical of where media dollars are spent. If Ontario/Quebec earned their own money, then they'd have the right to tell us to shove it. Unfortuntately, right now they do not. Unfortuntately, right now they do not. The money lives where you put your eyes. Isn't Alberta's money really corporate money from large energy companies ? And aren't most of those companies American ? This makes me realize again that a national forum on economic issues would be a great thing. Ontario has more than enough money. The Government of Ontario doesn't quite, but Ontario itself contributes more to Confederation on a complete basis than any other province. Quote

And here I thought that hardy, libertarian Albertans were extracting oil with their bare hands, only to be stolen by French people and socialists to fund art Centres.
