Kliege
According to a report in Montreal Gazette, at least $7 million in contracts awarded through the Space Agency and approved by beleaguered former public works minister Alfonso Gagliano haven't been supported by the required documentation. Michael Hardner
Calling this corruption is going too far. The software company didn't submit progress reports, but instead submitted an invoice for work completed. The article doesn't indicate that there's any doubt that the work was completed, only that the contract wasn't managed properly by the client. This is far from corruption, in fact I'd say it's common practice. Michael Hardner
If its not corruption then what is it? Don't be so unimaginative ! Ineptitude comes to mind, for one. More Questions thats the House Committee should have been able to ask, before Paul Martin shut it down. When will the people get therte money back from these crooks. He had an election to lose. Kick the Lying Liberals Out. Canada deserves better. Harper is a career politician too, isn't he ? Why trust one politician over another just because the new guy hasn't had a chance yet to disappoint ? I've seen it before. Mulroney, Chretien, Mike Harris.... zero to hero to zero again... No politican will make your life worth living. Remember that. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
Kliege
CTV's Canada AM interviewed Paul Martin this morning: Martin scattered It's nice to see their lead story dealing with something other than Stephen Harper's stand on social issues. What struck me about this interview was the following: --Martin is scattered, having trouble keeping a train of thought --Martin is doing his best to change the subject, which irritated the interviewer --Martin does not look prime ministerial; rather he looks desparate I came away from watching this clip with two thoughts. One, Martin is rattled and doesn't handel pressure well. And two, it is apparent the media haven't lost their desire to hamper Martin.
