Someone is optimistic... LOL.

I guess I should have put two polls.

1) who is going to win and

2) Who would you vote for.

Not that the voter isn't entitled to the opinion that Heller will pull off a massive upset. I view the NDP a distant 3rd in this riding based upon previous election results.

I think it's going to be a very close race. I would say many of us are quite disappointed in the McGuinty Liberals but while Bryant who is very popular in the riding and has close ties to the community the riding was safe. I think it will come down to which candidate runs the better campaign.

So far I have received an automated message from the NDP...can't figure out what they were thinking when they decided to use a phonebot.... And I have had a PC worker knock on my door which is suprising since I live in an apartment which are usually ignored in a residential riding like Forest Hill.

If from the tally of the lawn signs has any bearing I would give Levy the lead but the great unknown are the voters in apartments. As I said they are often ignored but there are a lot of us.

If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us

This is essentially a Liberal Stronghold ....

Actually it is a bellweather riding. During the Harris era it was held by Bassett and during the Rae days by Akande and of course, with the Libs, Bryant.

Yup, apartments are a complete waste of time.

Did they interfere with your soap opera or your 100th viewing of Joe Dirt? Did you have potato chips on your clothes? I hope you offered them a beer and smoke. were on your way to do laundry... Those darned activist going door to door wasting their times with the likes of you. :P

It is the apartment residents with a big open jaw of Vaseline that have to be avoided. Don't shake hands with them.

Yep, I was feeding my children dinner. He said, "Hi I'm working on behalf of Susan Levy..." and I said "good for you" and closed the door.

Still, it's the thought that counts.

OK - here's a protest vote if you need one:

Marius Frederick is low on qualifications but comes across as earnest and straightforward.

So far, it's between him and Heller.

I can't vote for the provincial Liberals. They're so inept and corrupt that they warrant the creation of a new adjective combining the two words: Maybe Corineupt or Incoreput

Then there's Paul McKeever who has the hot 'anti-Pan Am Games' issue in his pocket.

1. Scrap Ontario's Income Tax

2. Legalize Faster, Better Healthcare (choose one: public insurance, private insurance, pay-as-you-go)

3. Improve Education (pay only for the school your child attends)

4. Improve the Supply of Electricity

5. Restore Fair Auto Insurance (end "no fault", restore the "full tort" system)

6. Scrap Property Taxes (fund municipalities with consumption/sales tax instead)

Oh he's definatley still in the running...

His first introduction to politics and politicians was in 1981, with a meeting of Pierre Elliott Trudeau at the Canadian premiere of "Quest for Fire" at the University Theatre.
