Moonlight Graham Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Check this out. It has been 20 years in the making but researchers at the University of Western Ontario say they're confident their HIV vaccine is only months away from being approved for human trials.Lead researcher Dr. Chil-Yong Kang said Thursday the approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration can come as soon as two or three months. "We've been working on the HIV virus since 1987. This is a very important day for us," Dr. Kang said while attending a conference in South Korea. "It is a very important milestone for us, this vaccine." Imagine the lives saved if this goes through! Imagine the increase in unwanted pregnancies too lol Quote "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain Partisanship is a disease of the intellect.

enviralment Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 Stop being Blow hard cynics. I will not justify westernized over consumption and our inability to conserve, but less people are dying from preventable diseases today in developing nations than ever before. This is great news, and the unwanted pregnancy joke that's just in bad taste. Quote I support a pragmatic approach to our energy mix. Include Nuclear and support Canadian technology!
