Topaz Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Since McGuinty is not running again, and the NDP has a woman leader, if the Tories could elected Christine Elliot as leader and Sandra Pupatello got the lib. leadership, the next election would be very different and interesting at the same time! M.Dancer Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 I bet the women could clean up politics.....and get dinner on the table. Quote RIGHT of SOME, LEFT of OTHERS If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us
Topaz Posted April 6, 2009 Author Report Posted April 6, 2009 When has McGuinty said he is not running in 2011? UNLESS, he's change his mind that's what I heard on the news a while ago, is he staying???? Quote
Oleg Bach Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 McGinty is a woman. Okay he's not really a woman, but an intellectually over taxed similarity akin to a Scientologist. He sure looks like his ambition and personal ego have surpassed his ability..You will see the same in Obama once the presure is on..It takes a big brain and heart to contend these days - and sharp eyes will not quite make it - there are small rodents with sharp eyes. Trax Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 Why would we want women in charge? After all, the men are doing such a great job! Booming economy! Improved health & lifestyle of citivens! Renewed environment! Quote

Wild Bill Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 I bet the women could clean up politics.....and get dinner on the table. I'd vote for Deb Gray! Or a woman like her. In a heartbeat! Don't know if I could have confidence in someone like Marilyn Churley for Science & Technology. Or Hedy Fry for a cultural ministry. madmax Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 I'd vote for Deb Gray! Or a woman like her. Deb Gray took her pension anyway. And Reform died. Quote
Guest EDBOY Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 Hey all, this is my first post, and I know I'm going to go against all forum protocol and (slightly) hijack a post, but this question does have pertinence towards women in politics and it has a lot to do with an organization with significant impact in Ontario. I've been posed a riddle of sorts, and I'm hoping someone can help me out with it. I am looking for the name of a woman who is a director/leader/chairperson of a national non-partisan organization/group/association who currently lives in Alberta, or otherwise has a significant relationship with Alberta, her husband is a visible figure in a national news agency. Her description has been dropped in relation to coming political events Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Borg Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 I bet the women could clean up politics.....and get dinner on the table. Only if their husbands let them. A joke people - a joke - but not so in other parts of the world Borg Quote
