A top 10 list of Dion blunders could easily be made, lol. Quote "You are scum for insinuating that isn't the case you snake." -William Ashley Canadian Immigration Reform Blog

Bryan Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Bernier is the only one that even remotely qualifies as a scandal. Quote
Cameron Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Bernier is the only one that even remotely qualifies as a scandal. I'd have to agree. A scandal is something like Watergate, Adscam...etc... Quote Economic Left/Right: 3.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.26 I want to earn money and keep the majority of it.
Smallc Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Bernier is the only one that even remotely qualifies as a scandal. Yes, I agree with that completely. Its a stupid list. Quote

madmax Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 As long as the list is bashing the Tories you agree you mean. Read before you comment.... The list is short and covers multiple events, it is not a list on the CPC. Quote
madmax Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Yes, I agree with that completely. Its a stupid list. We have to have more Scandals then that... Quote
tamtam10 Posted December 28, 2008 Author Report Posted December 28, 2008 Hm, it should probably be retitled "Scandals and Blunders," I will email the person who wrote it and see what he thinks. Quote www.informedvote.ca

I don't think blunders qualify as scandals. Scandals are titillating and fascinating. Blunders are the sorts of things you read about and just put your head in your hands because you feel ashamed for the idiot. Quote

Progressive Tory Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 What about the Cadman affair? Bribing a dying man with a life insurance policy. That's pretty scandalous. normanchateau Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Was that ever proven? The expert hired by Harper to analyze the tape in which Harper acknowledged "financial considerations" were made has contradicted Harper's own court testimony: http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/stor...me=&no_ads= But Harper not telling the truth is hardly newsworthy these days. ToadBrother Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 An unproven allegation that DIDN'T happen in 2008... It didn't happen in 2008, and the Conservatives are doing all they can to make sure it doesn't get proven, although it's pretty damned funny that their own expert pretty much rejected their singular explanation. Now you've got the Conservative Goon Squad like Ezra Levant going around trying to assassinate Cadman's character, which is ironic because after he died Harper was trying to look like Cadman's godfather or something. I don't know why the Conservative Party just doesn't admit what it did and move on. Quote
