WIP Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 Shouldn't that be Rae Days? Quote Anybody who believers exponential growth can go on forever in a finite world is either a madman or an economist. -- Kenneth Boulding, 1973

Topaz Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 Come on guys lighten up. CA. had money problems when Arnold got there and Mother Nature has cause of the expenses even further. Quote
punked Posted December 20, 2008 Author Report Posted December 20, 2008 Come on guys lighten up. CA. had money problems when Arnold got there and Mother Nature has cause of the expenses even further. SO it is ok when it isn't Bob right? Quote
daniel Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 SO it is ok when it isn't Bob right? A formal apology from Stephen Harper to Bob Rae should be in order. Quote
Shady Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 A formal apology from Stephen Harper to Bob Rae should be in order. Why? Bob Rae raised taxes, raised spending, and bankrupted the province. Bob Rae should be apologizing to every citizen of Ontario until he dies. Quote
punked Posted January 4, 2009 Author Report Posted January 4, 2009 Why? Bob Rae raised taxes, raised spending, and bankrupted the province. Bob Rae should be apologizing to every citizen of Ontario until he dies. Like Arnold Quote
Shady Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Like Arnold Exactly. Arnold's practicing Rae economics with similar results. He needs to abandon the insanity. Quote
punked Posted January 4, 2009 Author Report Posted January 4, 2009 Exactly. Arnold's practicing Rae economics with similar results. He needs to abandon the insanity. At least Rae paid people with Money Arnold is now paying them with IOU's. Quote
Shady Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 At least Rae paid people with Money Arnold is now paying them with IOU's. Rae took more of people's money, while at the same time, mortaging their future, and their children's future. He was a miserable failure as Premier. As for him paying people with money, I'm not sure what you're referring to. Businesses pay people with money. Governments earn no money. They only take money and then redistribute it. Quote

punked Posted January 4, 2009 Author Report Posted January 4, 2009 And that makes it good in your mind right? Makes him better then the Right wing Arnold. Quote
Shady Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Makes him better then the Right wing Arnold. Rae didn't pay anybody. I'm still not sure what you're referring to. Please explain. And Arnold isn't right wing, his Rae economic plan, along with his ridiculous crusade for so-called man made global warming should illustrate that fact. Quote

daniel Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 (edited) Bob Rae inherited a recession. Stephen Harper is ushering in a recession while denying its existance. Bob Rae inherited the provincial deficit. Stephen Harper eliminated the surplus and has resurrected the deficit. Bob Rae increased the provincial deficit with economic stimulus packages. Stephen Harper is introducing economic stimulus packages after denying the state of the economy. Even though he raised taxes, Bob Rae ushered in the strongest economic boom amongst any G8 region during his term. Ontario fell to have-not status during Stephen Harper's term even though he lowered taxes. Edited January 5, 2009 by daniel Quote

Rae has said himself that as a first time Premier he made mistakes but he did try to keep from the provincial workers some losing their jobs altogether and I think they appreciated Rae after Harris took over. As far as the "Rae Days" even the auto sector was using this program this past fall. Quote
