Sure most are of the conservative mind here...conservatism at it's core is not about stupidity and aggression. It is a patient and kind mindset. Conservatives conserve what is good and useful...If there is even one spark of goodness in Igantieff - we are going to make good use of it. It's illogical to constantly attack and create a premise that is not accurate or possible false to justify that attack...we are supposed to be of good sound judgement here!

Obama.......was in all probability no born in the USA - so what! The world is changing..If we are to finally have the respect that we deserve from our American brothers - let Ignatieff bring that about...don't be in such a rush....how come you are not complaining that you don't see one immigrant face in the 100 dead soldiers...You would assume that those in the country for 2 years would enlist...? So he left and came back. I am sure he was not driven by money or ego. Maybe in time he will make a good and helpfully wise partner for Harper. I hate to say it but I see power in Iggy. He must actually BELIEVE in the concept that is Canada. I say utilize him. If not..you are in for a hell of a fight..this guy is not as intellectual and sweet as acedemia allows you to believe..he's a blunt warrior..You don't need or want and enemy in this man - a distain based in contempt for ability. Let him help - if he attacks like a nut - shut him down.....but I doubt if he is crazy and destructive...use him..he won't mind.
