cybercoma Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 I live in Fredericton and I can tell you the race is damn close between CPC and LPC. The incumbent from the LPC stepped out and there's a new guy running. His campaign office has called my house 3 times this weekend. I'm hoping this will negatively affect his campaign by pissing people off. Even if it were the CPC campaign calling, I'd be a little perturbed at being disturbed repeatedly over thanksgiving weekend to hear election bullshit. Regardless, my point being that the race is way too close to call, but the CPC candidate used to be involved with the provincial legislature and I believe he was in the cabinet. I think he might squeak this one out, but it's tough to say. Quote

The only thing I might disagree with is I do not think the Greens will elect anyone. I struggled with that for awhile, I don't think it's very likely that they'll get a seat, but I'm hoping they can pick up one somewhere. Who knows, maybe there's one riding out of 307 that has a strong candidate. Quote

By now you'll be pleased to hear that once again Harper did not win a single seat in Vancouver...or Montreal...or Toronto.
