Seems like Bushie is now comparing anyone who wishes discourse to those who would have talked to the Nazis... while of course he is paying tribute to his handlers in Israel. Sickening.

America needs a president who will put AMERICA first, second and third - and quit pandering to a mafioso quasi tyranny.

To add:

Obama clashes with Bush in Nazi appeasement row

“We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.'

“We have an obligation to call this what it is - the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."

First Steve, now King George...

Disgusting, both of them. Smear, lie, insult - drive the wedges further - how to ruin a nation in as few steps as possible.

What a bloody embarassment.

We aren't talking about the Russians - we are talking about a country who actually CALIMS to be a Democracy with Equal Rights for all - not the case by a long shot.

Go educate yourself:

Israel's claim of democracy and equal rights for its citizens stands up to any nation. Posting a link and telling someone to educate himself only indicates you are either too lazy to back up your position or to ignorant of the topic.

Possibly both.

We aren't talking about the Russians -

No of course we're not. You never do, nor do you ever talk about any of those other places. You focus only on Israel. This is why so many people are suspicious of those who constantly, ceaselessly criticise Israel. I mean, if they're concern was really human rights then presumably they'd spend most of their time criticising those nations with the worst human rights records. Instead they ignore them all to focus all their wrath on Israel. Again I say - why?

Israel is far from perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than many other nations, including almost all of those around it. On the other hand, there are a lot of Jews in Israel.

Right. And Israel is constantly on the front page. Have you ever thought that this might be a reason why it gets discussed so much? Of course, there is always the fact that we have a people who, having suffered persecution and injustice for so many centuries, and who never tire of telling us all about it, are now visiting the same thing upon somebody else. Wasn't it Ben Gurion who said that he wouldn't blame the Arabs for not wanting to sign a deal with Israel because "after all, we are taking their land."?

That merger between Jordan and Israel just look sbetter and better all the time.

They are? Perhaps you could point me to where the death camps are located. Exactly how many Palestinians have been gassed and burned over the last couple of decades? Round numbers will do.

Persecuting? Up until the Intifada I would say the life of your average Palestinian was probably no worse than that of your average Syrian or Iraqi or Egyptian insofar as political persecution goes. The intifada, the riots, the suicide bombings, have forced Israel to clamp down on movement, of course. Who wouldn't? But I bet that virtually any citizen of North Korea would give their right arm to live life as freely as the Palestinians do.

That merger between Jordan and Israel just look sbetter and better all the time.

Only to someone completely ignorant of the realities of life, and too lazy to educate themselves.

You must be joking. The life of a citizen of these countries is not as good as a Jew living in Israel, but it is a hell of a lot better than a Palestinian living in the West Bank and most especially Gaza.

I said insofar as political freedom goes. But even economically, the Palestinians were doing far better prior to the Intifada. All kinds of Israeli investments were going in, and lots of Palestinians had jobs within Israel proper. All that is pretty much gone now.
