Historians Rate George W. Bush a “Failure”

Recommended Posts

It is a waste of time either way....see the current PBS series "CARRIER".

Also....we don't have any "little" ones....they are all "big".

So you agree the US is falling behind is the crucial strategic small carrier race...?

Bush-Wacko policies have GREATLY increased :

-Infant mortality rates in the US

-Deaths of civilians oversees

-US incarceration rate

-US poverty rates

-Number of US citizens going hungry

-US per capita debt

-World mistrust of Neo-Conservatism

-Religiosity in gov't policy (Church-State FUSION)

-Environmental damage

-Corruption

While DEcreasing :

-Average US life expectancy

-World peace

-Federal gov't transparency

-Trust of federal gov't

-Infrastructure funding (Katrina)

-Civil liberties

Apparently, Neo-Conservative policies lead to widespread death, incarceration, torture, secrecy, poverty, loss of liberty and general destruction. That's why 70% of Americans oppose Bush and his Neo-Conservative administration, and FAR MORE than 70% oppose such insane, authoritarian right-wing policies outside of the US.

IOW, Neo-Conservatism is ANTI-AMERICAN and ANTI-WORLD.

If the Republican Party and conservative opinion-makers in the media had any integrity, there would have been more than a tiny handful like Ron Paul and Bob Barr and even Neofascists like Pat Buchanan, who had the guts to say openly that the emperor has no clothes! Those of us who are old enough to remember, heard this claim by the Democrats back in the early 60's - even before the Vietnam War escalated - that America could stop Communism by going into any country in the world and imposing democracy on a thankful population. It didn't work in Vietnam, and it won't work in any country that opposes foreign domination!

For some reason, just because it became a Republican strategy in the late 80's, then it was all of a sudden a good idea according to conservative pundits who have no real core beliefs besides ensuring Republican domination of government!
