Fortunata Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 I stand by my comment. The north is a useless waste of time. Way bigger fish to fry at this point. What bigger fish? Quote
Topaz Posted December 5, 2007 Author Report Posted December 5, 2007 Is it really so difficult to post a link to what you start threads about. You know, just once would be nice. I would gladly given a link but there's isn't one? First I ASKED if this was true, if any of you had heard about this? Secondly, were I got the info from was on C-PAC, were the different people had mention it on a debate about finance bill that is coming up for a vote. The Cons didn't say they were wrong and that surprised me. Quote
Army Guy Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Here is another example of our government making decissions based on what they think is best...without consulting those experts in that field. I mean do we tell our contractor's " no i want the basement on the top of the house, and i want it built with this new locally built hand saw, sorry we could not afford to get the handle option ... Do we really think the navy wanted Armed ice breakers, i'd say about as much as they wanted those damn subs we bought...The navy has so many short falls right now it's past laughable, bordering on bringing one to tears actually...and i bet no where on thier list of things we need to buy was armed ice breakers.. Not that our north does not need to be patroled, because it does, but we need to buy the right tools for the job. And we need to change the way we purchase equipment for the military. what we really need is a white paper that most Canadians can get behind Quote We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.
