And rape is despicable for anyone. Those committing such an offence, in my opinion are beyond redemption and are not going to be rehabilitated, and thus are a waste of space in prison. But then all the lefties think we should just coddle them and read stories, hold hands and sing till they get out and do it again. Wouldnt want to offend their rights. If a lone 15 year old boy had been put in with 20-34 known homosexuals, and he suffered the same fate as this girl, it would have made international news AND I'm sure you'd have something to say about it. It's so "conventional" of me to think that women shouldn't be incarcerated with men. I think I should break out of that "box" and start advocating co-ed prisons. And the population in prisons shouldnt be subjected to rape for their crimes committed. Its not part of their sentence. There should be more supervision. I don't agree totally with "Sideshow", however. I think that the likes of Paul Bernardo, Karla Humulka, Robert Picton and Ted Olsen in your country, and David Berkowitz, Zaccaria Mussouia(sp) should be with the general population, unsupervised.
