Topaz Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Hannity is talking about the fires burning in the California and saying how this horrible event is being politically exposed by the Dems and they just have to bring politics and Bush into everything. I think Hannity is doing more about doing this than the Dems, if the Dems are, by keep talking about the politics of this than anything! After all, isn't this how he makes his living, running down the Dems. He said this has nothing to do with globe warming, than maybe we should call it the weather or mother nature. They haven't have hardly any rain in the area and the yearly winds come and they have their fires out of control. Hannity has said he doesn't believe in globe warming, so maybe he should go to Alaska and stand on an iceberg and see how long before he falls in the water! Quote
geoffrey Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 These fires are common. Stopping them quicker (as we do now), makes it more likely for a major fire later. This isn't global warming. Only a completely braindead idiot would related something like this to global warming, while bashing those that claim glacial growth in many areas is evidence of the opposite. Perhaps some science mixed in with your politics, Mr. Gore? Quote RealRisk.ca - (Latest Post: Prosecutors have no "Skin in the Game") --
DogOnPorch Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 It may not be global warming but, it is due to the effects of man on his environment. California in my lifetime has gone from just over 10 million people to well over 30 million...most living in the LA Basin area. Chaparral covered hillsides + houses + no water = trouble once the Santa Anna winds pick-up. At least they have things more under control at the moment due to a wind shift...and the help of .---------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not a paranoid deranged millionaire.
