Religeon was created because primitive man had no scientific knowlege or understanding of the natural world to explain things like weather. Actually, if you REALLY look at modern man, we still have trouble accepting our natural side. Every behavior that isn't socially pleasing is labled as "psyciatric", instead of people just admitting that because we are animals, we will have some animalistic behaviors. For example(once again!), homosexuality exists wide spread in the animal kingdom, from whales to elephants, to humans. Therefore, it seem to me that homosexuality is a built-in birth control device thanks to nature. Yet, people continue to insist that it is a sin, a choice, wrong. You are entitled to think and believe what you want, I personally have never known nature to be wrong! Can't say the same for humans!!!!

What I said was they should be subject to the same packaging laws as tobacco; smoke packs have graphic pics and info on them. Let the Big Mac have graphic pics and info of obese people on them. Reality is as reality does. Candaians are changing socially. We have younger generations that grew up with technology, seen the devestation caused by booze, seen the rapid destruction of the planet, seen unjust wars, ect. If the Canadian government Really ran on Democracy, and not on Elected Dictatorship, they would simply hold a National Referendum on the legalization of Pot, and let the Canadian people decide once and for all, for themselves if they want pot legalized. Let's try it this way : A mother takes her 6 year old to the doctors. The doctor informs her that her child is 40lbs heavier than the proper range for her age and hieght. The doctor also informs the mother of the health risks with clinical obesity, so the decide to do testing to see if there is a Medical reason for the extreme weight. The results come back, and there are no Medical reasons for this child to be obese. The mother insists that her child is "just chubby, bay fat", and continues parenting the same. 3 months later the child ends up at the ER with heartfailure, bro7ught on by the weight. Who is resposible for this happening? Is it not the mother, since she was made aware of her childs condition, the health risks involved, and yet decided the doctor was wrong, her 90lb 6 yr old was perfectly fine, and therefore didn't change her eating/exercise habbits. Is this not the defenition of "Criminal Negligence"? If we starve our children it is a crime. Why is it not a crime to stuff them to bursting?

Nobody has suggested a plan on how to prevent medicinal users from not only having deal with Drug Dealers, but from becoming Criminals themselves by growing/buying. We need more Pharmacies to fill medicinal pot precriptions, and have Insurance/Benefit companies cover the cost, like they do for Highly Addictive drugs such as Oxycocet. We need to allow medicinal users(or everyone!) to Cultivate at least 2 plants(1 for backup), without fear of A) being arrested or CAS taking your child(ren).
