  1. A few quotes about what slavery is: (Catechism of the Catholic Church) (from a statement by the Secretary General of the United Nations, in 2007) (George W. Bush) (Albert Einstein)
  2. Now now... Whipping should be only used as a consentual form of sexual stimulation. There is nothing stimulating in what you suggest.
  3. The way your were insulting every one who knew the service agency was wrong and the way you were ranting about gays and lesbians make it very clear what your opinion was. So is your habit of hurling insults at anyone who dares to have the conscience so badly lacking in you. Real translation... you and your money are first class Canadians, I am a second class Canadian. I have a job, I make more than the avarage Canadian, and you have not proved yet that as a Frenchie I was exempt from income tax. As for success. You measure success by the size of one's wallet, you are prejudiced, and you favour slavery. That's failure as a human being. I can forgive you for not having the guts to prove to all, through personally experiencing it, that slavery is a good thing for those who are enslaved. What I will not do is leave you off the hook for your failure to take responsibilities for your own disgusting idea. Well. Decent people, no matter how smart they are, know what slavery is, and they don't even have to experience it. If you knew what decency is, you would not advocate slavery.
  4. Comments about leafless' English are widespread, and so are grammar and sentence structure problems. Admit it, you are targetting me for one reason - I know you for the hateful small-minded francophobe you are, and I say it. When you something useful to contribute, let me know.
  5. http://www.thestar.com/News/World/article/463496 This being the U.S., it is perfectly logical that drivers' licenses tests would be in English. But this? Even the Quebec Government has not come with something that ridiculous. The man speaks enough English to explain where he is going and what he is doing, and he must has passed a drivers' license test at some point.
  6. Those who fought for our country and for the world deserves our respect for that. That respect does not extent to actions and opinions that treat other Canadians as if they were second class citizens. And yes, slamming the Armed Forces because it has stopped treating some Canadians as second class citizens is dishounouring the uniform and insulting the memory of those who died for democracy and freedom. PS: What immigrants to the United States do and learn when they arrive there is irrelevant in a debate about the rights of the citizens of Canada.
  7. Of course it is a silly idea. Belongs right there with the notion that slavery is a good solution to some of our social and economic problems. By the way, do you have something to contribute to the topic of the thread, or are you just trolling because I am a Frenchie? Mind you, the Saturday morning idiocy is very entertaining.
  8. Baited, moi? Nope. Just recognizing a low-life when I see one. And I'm an Ontarian. But of course, my first language is French, so in your mind than means I'm from Quebec anyway. Now, do you have something to contribute other than displays of hatred? Besides sharing the opinion of half of the planet about Célllline Dion I mean.
  9. The myth that Obama is a secret Muslim has been debunked and only idiots, racists, and blow-hard right-wing commentators believe it. The McCain campaign would not touch that drivel with a six-foot pole, knowing full well they would look like morons. Which brings me to... you leafless. If you knew how to read, and with just one extra click, you would have seen that this particular online magazine writes the abbreviation for United States "US", which is a stylistic error, but one THEY make consistantly. But do not worry, I have learned long ago that in your case hatred blinds you to facts.
  10. A rare event, you got something right. Now, you know that I will remind you of that one next time you try to deny you want to impose language as the sole language of commerce  BTW, the status of English as the first language of the majority of Canadians, and as the main language of commercial in public life in provinces other than Quebec is not under any threat, and any logical person knows it.
  11. Why stop at slavery? Why not just kill those who won't work, and charge their family for the bullet? Would save you money, Argus, and we all know you value your wallet more than other people and their human dignity.
  12. Less we forget... less than three months ago, you were praising a care provider that threathened to pull its services to a disadvantaged group unless they could discriminate aagainst gays anbd lesbians, competed with homophobic clichés. Less we forget... you have "no problem" with the rights of French-seaking Canadians,, unless when it involves services in locations where "they understand English anyway". Inadequate understanding of your own drivel is your problem... most be an indequate education. Why? Because you need to be reminded again and again that you do not have the guts to take responsibility for your idea by applying it to yourself. And because you need to be reminded again and again that decent human being know that your idea is disgusting. What is silly is that you believe you can put such an inhumane notion forward and expect people to approve.
  13. From Wikipedia Yep, this must be Canada... in an alternate reality
  14. Why would I claim that, when I know they indeed lobbied for a municipal language of service policy that is fair and reflects the fact Ottawa is the capital of Canada? They were right to do so, and like any other citizens they had the right to do so. You deal in delusions, I don't. The City of Ottawa Act, as amended in 2006, states: Even if the City if Ottawa had not already adopted a language policy, it would be mandated by law to have one. That's clear enough... to others. A public meeting of a democratically elected body following the full procedures of our representative democracy. That's how it happened. There must be two Robert Mugabe, because the one I know acts differently. :lol
  15. Let's see... Makes it clear that you believe "white" culture is superior.
  16. After all your postings praising British institutions including the Monarchy... I rest my case about the fact you keep contradicting yourself.
  17. I will stand corrected, She went through four Quebec towns in 1987. According to the official list of Royal visits, that was the only time (except a visit to the Museum of Civilizations) she step foot in Quebec beetween 1976 and 2002. I am not awarw of any visit to Quebec since. And the Quebec government did indeed invite the Queen this year. The federal government did not extend an invitation as well. They know that while most people in Quebec wouldn't care, there would enough bozos around to cause trouble.
  18. So let me check your rules of debate. You can whine about Quebecers, spit on them, call them wankers, say that Quebec artists have no talent. but nobody is allowed to state the FACT that such statements put together prove that you, personnally, are a little hateful man who should get a life.
  19. Sir Paul wants to love Quebec City people, not hate them. Must make you mad.
  20. It was not an word by word quote, but you have spoken in favour of the Monarchy, then against it. And you have said that I am French, then admitted to the FACT I am Canadian, then said again that I am French. But I can understand why you can hardly remember some of the drivel you write. I would not want to remember it either if I was its author.
  21. Brownie points to you. I will be the first one to admit that my knowledge of my second language (English)occasionnally fails me, at that I am typo-prone, although yourself would readily admit that the biggest irony is when someone (leafless, namely) wants to impose a language he is unable to read or write. And it's his first language.
  22. It's relevant when it shows your lack of understanding of facts. And the fact the Ottawa bilingual policy is provincially mandated is enough to make it legal.
  23. So now you are so confused about you own opinions you don't even know what everybody knows just by reading your drivel, which is that you believe "white" culture to be superior to others. You may skirt the word "superior", but the meaning is unescapable. Instead of calling other people liars for stating an evidence, stick to claiming that I support things by calling them a p*le of manure.
  24. So, French-speaking Canadians managed to slap the Queen in the face BEFORE she became Queen and Canada BEFORE Confederation. And I will your position non-sense and a pile of m"nure, but anarchy or treason is a bit much, isn't it? But your lack of respect you show towards other English-speaking Canadians throught the way you use the English language is at least entertaining. So is the way you twist your own non-sense to the point of yourself do not say what you're saying "Monarchy is a great thing... no it's the source of our problems... don't you dare speak ill of the Monarchy" "You're French... No you're Canadian... No you're French"
