  1. Actually, I am trilingual. I also understand Leaflish.
  2. At least you acknowledge you are one. I never used the word violent to describe you. We'll ignore for a moment the fact that you were PARTLY right .That's not why your anti-Semitic bigotry is evident. It's the way you parade your half thruths and complete falsehoods like if we should feel offended by the. Wgat part of me calling him a racist did I miss? Coming from you, I'll laugh. Insane blindless and lack of logic would be to consider him less than a racist, that is a low-life loser scumbag. It would also be to fail to see and say that you are a racist. It's just happen that Cone is not the piece of trash sitting on the other side of my screen. You are.
  3. I got over it. The way you butcher the English is nothing more, and nothing less, than a reason to laugh at you. So now you have a problem with my choice of a second language. And you wonder why I laugh at you. (...) when I say you are clueless. There is nothing threatening the English language in Ontario... except may the way you massacre it at very opportunity. Not according to YOUR logic. Nope. what you write only have a vague resemblance to English.
  4. edited to correct an idiotic typo What I said, oh moron among the morons, is that new Jewish organization would think of you as a "righteous" gentile. Feel free to cooonclude, wrongly, that I am a Jew, and to show your true colour with a slur.
  5. Admitting that one's country has been wrong is not badmouthing it. As for this not being a black vs white thing, say that to the lowlife (pointing to lictor)
  6. I'll pass on the fact that Cone is a racist. And on the fact that there is no evidence he belieces in whites being inferiors who should be exterminated, or that his past writings about Jesus bbeing Black are to be taken in any meaning that he was physiologically Black. What I won't pass on is the fact that the entire tone of your postings remove any doubt that you are anything but a low-life despicable racist.
  7. next to Santa claus' family tree. Nope. and what if I were?
  8. And I have told you that known genealogies disprove your nonsense. I know you're abit hesitant to confirm that your souce of "information" is raving anti-Jewish sites. It should not.be illegal. But feel free to check your facts for total accuracy once in a while Repeating the canards and falsehoods and the distortions of facts from lunatic anti-semitic sites and believing them makes it pretty clear that you're not repeating them just to get the "righteous Gentile of the year award". But feel free to put even more of your "truths" online.
  9. And they can ask until Hell freezes over as far as I am concerned.
  10. I know who I am, I know I am the king of typos ( ) And I know I don't count on you for any English language lesson. And I am French-speaking. We have already established that English is the first language as a majority of Ontarians, that this has nothing to do with the rights of Ontarians to receive services in either English or French, and that English is not an official language of Ontario at the provincial level. Which means, if one has to follow your latest bit of clueless non-sense, that you are not an English speaker. And you wonder why I have no expectation of seeing you ever getting a clue.
  11. The immigration point system gives an advantage to immigrants with knowledge of either English or french. If any of the ten provinces and three territories wants to target people able to function in English from the moment they arrive, good for them.. I have absolutely no problem with that. And that's integration, not sassimilation.
  12. He is a despicable human being. The treatment of Omar Khadr is leading us to a slippery slope towards being little better than the people who see others as less as humans. Then, there are people who have already sunk that low...
  13. They have an onligation to their citizens to respect the letter and the spirit of the law. Which in this case would have involved grabbing the little terrorist in front of a regular court of law, with the opportunity for his lawyers to question the evidence and the witnesses. The way it is supposed to happen. Not a kangaroo court, where "evidence" obtained under torture is admitted.
  14. Apart from his naive musings about nuclear disarment, not much sign of that so far.
  15. And I have had people telling me how frustrating it was for them to get a reply in English every time they were trying to practice theirFrench.
  16. Like in the "good old says, right" Thank you for making my point for me. News to you. I most certainly consider myself persecuted in 2009. And I am most certainly glad that Canada has moved on towards equality of rights. Don't be confused just because I see your c*ap for what it is. You mean by speaking French, right? Thank you for reminding me that I don't know what's better for me. while keeping French. The best of two worlds. And I for one choose when and how I use these two wonderful languages. Two news to you. A - English IS the maintream language. Nothing to do with people having the right to use, and using, French. B - In 50 years from now, French will still be spoken in this country. Especially in Quebec. Oh surprise, those whose language insecurities brings them to cringe whenever they see something in another language don't all speak french.
  17. What is funny is what you write. The quasi-extinction of the Irish gaelic language, or welsh, or First Nation's languages, to name those examples, is to a large extent due to policies that actively discouraged or punished the use of those languages, that imposed English only education. Call it whatever you want, that is a forced component of assimilation. Does not mean that there is more assimilation.
  18. Love of one's country, and pride in it, sometimes includes saying "we were wrong" and "we will do better". It sometime includes being frank about how being viewed as a second class citizen has affected that pride. Wishing for a world without nuke may be naive, but it is not hatred for one's country.
  19. You are of course welcome to believe we have to lose our soul and become no better than the ennemy. I am welcome to know this would be our worse defeat.
  20. Toronto has a by-law stating that it is a right to be serviced in English in taxi-cabs. Various municipalities in BC and Ontario have enacted, or attempted to enact, by-laws amndating English on business signs. Stay on this site long enough, and you will get people arguing that private business such as banks should be prohibited from offering their services in Mandarin. To get English language education in Quebec, one must be from a family where one member has been educated in English somewhere else in Canada. To get a french language education elsewhere in Canada, one must be from a family where one member has been educated in French, period. Not that different when you look at me (but you know me, people should be able to choose one or the other, period). Federal government services are available in English in the City of Saguenay, of which Roberval is part. Not necessarily in all ofice, same as French in let's say Saskatoon. I would say that the situation of provincial services in the minority language is better in New Brunswick than in Quebec. With Ontario and Manitoba, it is better in some aspects, worse in others. As for the other provinces... Quebec provide more access to services in English than most of them do with French (mind you, I hold Quebec to a higher standard in that regard).
  21. As the saying goes, those who ignore the past are condemned to live it again. But it does not seem to me like you are ignoring it, but rather carcing for a return to it. We are not going back to the time of forced assimilation. Get over it.
  22. Even heard of Switzerland? Unless of course you consider love of money to be a language?
  23. Nobody would believe al-Quaida if they said they were not targetting civilians, would they? That being said, I have no expectation that low-life murderers will abide by the standards of a democratic society founded on the rule of law and respect for what is right. The expectation I have is that we will not sunk as low as they do in barbarism and abdication of any morality. As Romeo Dallaire, a man who has witnessed the worst of what human beings can do to each others, put it, torture is taking us on a slippery slope.
  24. You mean next I go too Europe I will allowed to go back to CANADA? Thank you so very much for allowing the third-class person that I am to return where his roots are.
