  1. My employer and coworkers all know who I vote for an support as do I theirs. I have no issue with it and while we may disagree on some issues politically, at work it plays no part in our performance or interactions with each other. Now, would I associate with those who hold right wing views away from work...not bloody likely.
  2. So your solution is more of the same...election rigging then. You being a Harper fan, I can see why you'd hate to hold open accountable elections without the need for secrecy. Voter intimidation? You mean like Robo-Calling.... or individuals from the Conservative party of Canada disrupting a special ballot polling station on the University of Guelph campus. That kind of voter intimidation?
  3. Hey, if you're not rigging an election...you've got nothing to hide then and no need for secrecy right?Right?????
  4. When the Harper government appeals this it will be because they know that A) if there was a by-election they won't be able to rig it again and they will lose that seat and B ) their appointed lackeys in the SC will side with them and quash any dissenting lower court judge's opinion. While costing the taxpayers and Liberals money...
  5. Wait.. this Canada you speak of... does that include those separatists from that fire-walled state of Alberta?
  6. The next election we need to have the U.N. here to supervise polling.. Canada's become a banana republic with Harper and his party of fraudsters in charge. I'd suggest, that there be booths set up for each of the party's and voters should be filmed to verify which/whose booth they go to to cast their vote. That way there could be no mistake. Well unless the Conservatives figure out another way in their record of breaking the law and violations of Canada's Elections Act...
  7. Many of them feel the same way about people who espouse fanatical right wing extremist views...like calling them anarchists or terrorists when all they are doing is protesting.Even retired Supreme Court Justice Gomery has come out now and said...this new law Charest and his right wing pals have put in place is wrong and in his words " "a limitation on free expression."
  8. Here's some more about Dutch Disease... So even the very experts that Harper hired to do the study conclude Mulcair is right about this... Of course, whenever someone has a dissenting opinion, Harper shuts them up or axes the program because it doesn't fit with his fascist agenda http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/story/2012/05/18/pol-cp-dutch-disease-industry-canada-jpbs.html
  9. Awe crap..this pains me to say it but well done Ford. I'm going to go gargle with mouthwash and get this vomit taste out of my mouth now...
  10. You're reaching with that answer... the party in power hasn't shifted radically at all. The right wing extremists just decided they wanted to push the province further to the right and formed the Wild Rose. Right wing governments have held power there since 1935... the Social Credit Party from 1935-1971 and the current Conservative part since then... that's not exactly democracy
  11. In that case...Alberta's no longer a democracy. Alberta says...you're wrong.
  12. You honestly don't know?Really? Yes, he was.
  13. I'll leave it at this...I'm following what Charles Anthony asked for yesterday... you might be wise to do likewise.
  14. That's your issue to ponder about yourself, not mine to explain.
  15. Only according to neo-con fascists who cannot stand the truth being reported.
  16. I was using his own compelling style of argument (re: khadr thread, page 133) so he could comprehend it.
  17. Guess you've never heard the terms...accomplice or aiding and abetting before?Funny how you continue to deny the validity of the SC's ruling...
  18. So the store owners had it coming right? They should have expected it given the Harper government insisted on holding the summit in the downtown core instead of at a remote secure facility like say, Petawawa. The store owners can thank Harper for allowing the cops the opportunity to show their true blue neo-con colours.
  19. Seeing as though he was being held at Gitmo...and not under the supervision of CSIS...I'd suggest that the court's findings would back my statement above.
  20. You're right but Gost Hacked's link to the article on the cbc website does have a few more details about the report.Although, I do agree with you, it was already well known to anyone with a brain, that the rights of citizens were trampled on and that the police abused their powers significantly. Only idiots would defend the police's actions...
  21. Breaking news... G20 report details mass violation of rights by police http://www.globalnews.ca/g20+report+details+mass+violation+of+rights+by+police/6442642071/story.html
  22. Probably not as much as the outsourcing of 'interviews' that they probably had done for them during his stay at Gitmo while the government refused to repatriate him
  23. So Signals.Cpl, you're saying the west has never sanctioned any 'black ops' or 'wet work'?
