Second Conservative Cabinet Member In Trouble at Airport
groupeii replied to nicky10013's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I once had alchohol confiscated from me - and I requested the exact same thing. But this was at a camp ground not an airport. I thought that they would just keep the liquor for themselves, so requested they empty it out in front of me. You'd sort of expect people to know the rules of the country they are suppose to be running. Of course if I was in a position I would be hard pressed to expose anything I consumed to a third party. I can identify with how blackburn must have felt. BRING THE SYSTEM DOWN MANG!! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.. ITS THE GOVERNMENTS FAULT!!!! DONT GIVE INTO THE SYSTEM MR. BLACKBURN! For once I'm not upset that they are charging me an extra 10$ for more security at the airport. Bad bad joke. Honestly it must have sucked, but tequila is generally pretty cheap even for the good stuff. You can get tequila in tequila for like 4$ a litre. Geuss that is what those small hotel bottles are for. Although I thought you could take unopened liqour on the plane with you in checked carryon? no? -
10%ers Banned. Only Conservatives Oppose.
groupeii replied to nicky10013's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It is preposterous that the public can be expected to fund the largest political parties and only those top 5 or so for their party propaganda. While I can understand making available information, in todays age there is no requirement to do this sort of spamming of the public. It is absurd. This is why there needs to be a state media organization which serves the public equally. For example by allowing statements for public record. Such as a public BBS... a speakers corner to post information to. The office of the MP etc.. self signup phone lists, or email lists. However there is no need for public tax dollars to do this. Forget the 10% or inside outside of the riding stuff. We have to understand that it simply isn't fair to give the largest parties funding while forcing people to pay to run for office in what is suppose to be a constitutional right. Stop public financing of private government. You want flyers make it a tax deducatable business expense for for profit political parties end the NFP political party status stuff and public financing of partisan politics. Inform the public but not at the publics expense. -
I'm sure most people are aware of how the PM bet with the US president over a case of beer. This is illegal in Canada. The PM broke the law. Why hasn't he been charged or thrown in jail for this blatant breach and insubordination of his countries own laws? MP's and the PM are not exempt from violations of criminal law in Canada - why is he not in jail for this publically known violation of gambling law?

Visible Minorities to be majority in 25 years
groupeii replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
With the conservatives opening Canada's legs its not a suprise that Canada will be flooded by a foreign population in the next generation. -
Have you ever been hit with a shoe? That is a criminal offence in Canada and if a cop took off his shoe and hit you during questioning it would be illegal. Also we all know that the practices and methods of the government such as cutting brake lines and harassment of organizations that do not follow their party's policy are only the tip of the iceberg of what their behaviour is like in Canada. It is not hard to image the sheer criminality of their operations abroad.

For gods sake it is substantiated fact, that the CIA used torture on afghani's. Also interrogation by the military and intelligence agency is equivocal to torture. If it was "questioning" it wouldn't be interrogation. Interrogation implies coercive use of force and methodologies to derive information which otherwise is not readily accessible. Your post is garbage.

Can't compete with immigrants.
groupeii replied to mikedavid00's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Mike perhaps us two can start an organization called Canadian Association for the Employment of Canadians. -
http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/afghanmission/article/776514--csis-secretly-interrogated-afghan-prisoners suprise suprise, Harper and his governments a bunch of war criminals If Somalia is any indication of "interrogation" by the Canadian Forces and CSIS we know very well there were both human rights abuses and war crimes committed. That is the only real reason harper has gagged this issue, cause he is due for a court hearing the Netherlands real soon. Could this be the reason for the Dutch pull out a hard pill for them to swallow suppose to be trying to try war criminals but NATO and their member nations are all war criminals? US CIA used torture CHECK, Canadian military and CSIS used torture CHECK, what other countries?

Kenney Pulls Gay Rights from Citizenship Guide
groupeii replied to nicky10013's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Maybe kenny could of added "you're an immigrant" like you have rights in Canada, instead of removing the gay remark. Also maybe the comment kenny wanted added went more like "fags get out" rather than we are inclusive. Maybe not putting anything in was just a compromise solution. -
Yeah cause the Canadian government doesn't control citizenship, immigration and residence within Canada. So suddently the natives arn't allowed to tell people who arn't part of their band they can't live there anymore. When was the last time someone wasn't allowed to live in Canada because they wern't Canadian? remember that french guy who couldnt' become Canadian because his daughter was disabled. All disabled people get out is what immigration said. How is this any different.

Is it time Federalize/Nationalize Minimum Wage?
groupeii replied to whowhere's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yeah, just what Canada needs a pro business government to set the minimum wage. How much are you making this week Fran? I can't find enough trees to pay. can I kill you to get hard labour in prison - at least they feed us, even if it is laced with poison. -
Who cares they'll just continue to sweep things under the carpet like they've done with all their other breaches of law. It's the only thing they are good at, the liberals would be in the hauge by now.

Why not de-officialize the national anthem?
groupeii replied to Machjo's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Why not deofficialize the flag and let people decide what to fly. NEWS FLASH YOU DON'T NEED TO SING THE ANTHEM, its a free world. Only cultists are obliged to follow cult behaviour. It is that type of behaviour that ruins the free world. Cultists, we don't need more cultists. You don't like it, don't sing it. You favour Eric Clapton, or Celine Dione instead? Who cares. The song sucks.Who in their right mind would make lyrics that sound like "we stand on god for thee" in a Christian nation? It is so slow and way to long. The only good use of the thing was station turn offs which helped you go to sleep. You want a free nation - start by ending the cult. Atleast take in perspective, maybe you don't want to hear people sign something if they can't sing. Don't feel obligated. The only reprive is that it ain't the star spangled banner. No offence to americans, but what key is that thing written in? Personally I find worshiping flags and songs just a little weird, and if it wern't backed by people with guns, I think most of you would agree. You don't have to be part of the cult - you have a choice in freedom. -
The country is a hole. Waste of time and money and lives to even look at the place.

groupeii replied to Mr.Canada's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Grow your population first. You westerners are worse than a scavenging dog.
