The comments are foolish and just outright wrong for today. Canada's role in the world has declined greatly in the last 20 years. In military abilities were a viewed more of a burden then a help to both the Americans and the Europeans.

The title is right and deserved. Martin is a man unable to make up his mind even when the policy is very popular such has SSM or unpopular so has BMD. His leadership skills are very lacking.

Stephen Harper is not a natural leader. He is much more of a policy and backroom politican then a leadership person. The Conservatives are going to have to learn to start putting there showhorses in party leaderships and there workhorses in the backrooms.

Its also interesting to to note that Canadian Anti-Americans isn't even noticed in the United States, the past Canadian Federal Election got scant notice if any. But in Canada the Presidential election was the top story for months and months. More people in Canada watch the Presidential debates then they did our own Leadership Debates during the Federal Election. We in Canada are more interested in the Americans then they are in us Canadians and thats just drives many Canadians mad.

Canada's reaction to the United States is like the reaction of a younger and much weaker sibling to a dominent and more powerful older siblings. When they are young the emulate the older sibling and trying to copy the things they do. But has they get older the resentment grows and the jealousy is more. Its very basic Anti-Americanism is popular in Canada b/c we Canadian are resentful and jealous of the United States.

Its interesting that the only party that supports this Budget is the Conservative Party. Interesting a Conservative budget for a Conservative Government.

What do the Conservatives have to do with the Speakership? It as always gone to the party with the most seats in the House of Commons.

With the Liberals with 135 and the NDP at 19 the Conservatives at 99 and the BQ at 54 and one Conservative minded Independent Chuck Cadmen. It looks like the House of Commons is going to be at a stale mate. Martin and the NDP can't govern with just 154 and they will lose one when the Liberals have to give up a vote to become Speaker making it 153 against the CPC and the BQ 154. So what will Martin do? He is not going to come to the BQ b/c he will get nothing from us unless he is willing to pay a very very very high price, which will make his party dead to english canada. So that leave the Conservative minded Cadmen and the CPC. It will be interesting.

Quebec did its part, we voted out the Liberals and only left them on the island of Montreal. It is Ontario that you should Blame for allowing the Liberals to still govern.

There will be no coalition or agreement that will allow the Liberals to govern with the support of the BLOC, if the NDP and Liberal numbers don't add up to 155, they will have to go to the Conservatives.

With every poll saying that the BQ is way ahead of the Liberals in Quebec, it is now clear with a little more then a week left in the election that the Liberals will be all but wiped out in French speaking Quebec and regulated to the english majority areas of Montreal and along the boarder with Ontario. The Liberals lost Quebec a long time ago and will certainly lose on the 28th June.

BigGun..did you even read the poll fully. The BQ is way ahead in Quebec and the Conservatives are ahead in every region expect Quebec. I don't know if that is true but there is more to the SES poll then the overall numbers.

Why do I have a feeling that Liberal campaign members are signing up to this website in a desperate attempt at something and god know what that could be. First it was Joesph, then casear and now liberalpaulmartin and they have all joined the website in the last week. Now does that sound strange to anyone?

Does anyone think as the election gets closer and if the Liberal feel they will be voted out of power that they will begin to get destroy evidence that might implicate them in all the past scandels and maybe destroy evidence of new scandels we know nothing about?

Trust me, if he loses on the 28th he is gone whether he wants to go or not. The knives will be out and the longer he stays the more divided the Liberal party will be. Which isn't all that bad from my point of view. Especially after we find out the truth about all the Liberal scandels. When the truth comes out, I think they are going to have alot more problems then Martin being leader.

Takeanumber get it through your thick head there will not be two federal elections within the same year. The people of the country will not accept that and the cost would be huge. If you can't understand that you understand nothing about politics and only act upon your foolish prejudices and political rethoric.

We hope for 60 or more Members of parilment from Quebec. We hope for a real parilmentary inquiry into the sponsorship scandel. We hope for inquries into the CSL scandel. We hope to know what happen to the money in the E.I program. We hope to correct the fiscal imbalance that does not benifit Quebec. We hope to help and support business in Quebec. We hope to get Quebec more of its money from ottawa. We hope Quebec will get control over most of its affairs. Lastly we hope in time the people of Quebec will realize that Quebec will do better outside Canada instead of in it, but that will take time. But for now we hope to get everything we can get out of ottawa for Quebec after that we don't care.

Things are alot complicated then that buddy and how are these other trading parthers we should seek to trade with Should the Americans close there boarder, so that Canadians trunks and business can't go into the U.S so can put things on ships to ship to China If things were only that easy my friend

Casear why do your seem your comments are so random. Canadians aren't going to tolerate another election in 6 months, especially after the way this one as been run. It cost way to much to hold one escpecially twice in one year.The Liberal will proberly dump Martin and its going to take a number of months to run a leadership election.The house usually takes off the summer months, so the house will not meet until late august or early september. A year will have to be the minimum. Starting from September.
