  1. Let me just say one thing so everyone will understand. There is no chance in hell that the BQ will prop up a liberal minority government. No chance in hell.
  2. It sounds to me your brother was kidding with you. If he couldn't bring himself to vote for the NDP why would he vote for the Green? Doesn't really make much sense.
  3. Ohh Ohh, Maple is talking to himself again
  4. Maple sounds like a Coolaid drinker to me, but thats my personal opinion. Im sure you are going to cry about it, but that is life.
  5. Maple, I know Democracy is something people like you do not like and it doesn't surprise me. Only the Liberal party appoints there candidates, while all the other party run nomination elections. Maybe China and Cuba would be a better fit for you Maple, you wouldnt have to worry about getting elected by ones party or the people.
  6. This was on Countdown and I also heard it on Radio Canada tonight from Chantel Hubert.
  7. Harper clearly won this debate with Layton coming in a strong second. I have to admit Jack Layton did a fantastic job of smashing down the Liberal con to NDPers. He clearly showed again and again that Paul Martin couldn’t be trusted because he is a habitual liar. My guy Duceppe was strong again but his Quebec 1st message does not play out well across Canada, which makes him a distant 3rd in this debate. Paul Martin flopped and badly. Expect a lot of Liberal knives out now because Paul blew this debate when the Liberals needed him to lead the most. How this moron managed to cakewalk to leader of the Liberal Party is beyond me. I predict the core Chretien loyalists focus everything they have on their loyal allies in the Liberal Party. They will take as many seats as possible while letting Martin and his hand picked minions rot in the feces of their own sh**house. This election was Martin’s to loose, and he has done a masterful job of loosing it. Because of this the Liberal Party of Canada will have to face the full music on the sponsorship scandal and Canada can finally get the truth about 11 years of Liberal lies and cooruption. Harper and Layton did very well. Ducceppe made the BQ pround and Martin nailed the coffin shut for his own career.
  8. Anyway, here's my list of winners and losers...well, winners and loser. Stephen Harper can be said to have won the debate as he'll probably gain the most out of it. This is not as a result of his own performance which was calm, competent, and not terribly impressive but was a result of the destruction of Paul Martin. Harper approached the debate with the classic strategy of a front-runner - stay out of trouble at all costs - and because of the pile-on on Martin, he largely did. If Layton and Duceppe had decided to concentrate their fire on Harper, things could have been different. Layton is also a winner because he not only successfully defended the NDP from the attempt on the Liberals' part to attract voters to them with the fear of Harper and a faux-progressive platform, he probably won over more than a few left-Liberals tonight. Duceppe did extremely well in the English debate, as Bloc leaders have in the past.It makes clear that the Bloc will do very well in Quebec at the expensive of the Liberals. His questioning was critical in helping to bring down Martin, so that's his contribution to the outcome to the debate. Martin...wow, poor guy and this is coming from someone who doesn't like him. Attacked on all sides, with a record and platform that he could have used to defend himself or his party...if anyone believed him. He generally did not look comfortable, he stuttered as he does on occasion when he's nervous and did not successfully manage to land the severe blow on Harper that was required Overall Haprer won the debate. Layton is also a winner, he looked on top of things and would not let Martin take the Left flank from him. Duceppe also a winner, continued his proformance from last night and hammered Martin about the sponsorship scandel.
  9. Maple is a Liar who doesn't know if he suports the Liberals or the NDP. He as no political opinions or belief, just rethoric.
  10. I would perfer Harper over Martin any day if it came down to that. What about you Maple? Still confused? NDP or Liberal?
  11. More LIES Maple, the BQ and the NDP do not share the same view of Canada. Stop promoting this LIE.
  12. Harper did not make any mistakes and his French was ok, he did not hurt himself in Quebec and I do not expect it to hurt the little support he had here. I would suggust that he become more interest in french and Quebec and build some type of base here if he ever wants to succeed in Quebec. Of course Maple trys to twist it to benifit his confused political ambitions. What is it Liberal or NDP Maple? Do you even know or do you just don't like the BQ or Conservatives.
  13. What nonsense! What are you Liberals afraid of that if the BQ as a voice in a government we will finally find out how much money you have stolen from the people of Quebec and Canada? That Liberal Ministers in Quebec have benifited from public money. That we will find out that Martin and the Liberals spent all the money in the E.I program. That the Liberals have used Quebec and the Federal government as there own personally slush fund. That the Liberals have misued and ruined are Healthcare system. What are the Liberals so afraid of?
  14. What are you Maple? Are you confused? Are you a Liberal or NDPer? You seem to be much more in favor of the Liberals or are you just a Liberal pretending to be an NDPer? What is Maple?
  15. Maple that is a LIE and im sick of you spreading LIES about the BQ on this website. IF you are going to slander the BQ get your Liberal talking points right and stop the LIES. Seperation is not an issue in this election, it is only the Liberals bring it up to try to slander the BQ. Maple stop telling your Liberal LIES about the BQ on this website. Your post are offend filled with such LIES and I hope that those that read your post know that you tell LIES.
  16. Maple that is a LIE and im sick of you spreading LIES about the BQ on this website. IF you are going to slander the BQ get your Liberal talking points right and stop the LIES. August1991 you are also partly wrong. There is lots of support for the BQ in Montreal. Alot of the ridings on the eastside on of the island are held by the BQ also the suburbs outside of Montreal are also BQ. Maple stop telling your Liberal LIES about the BQ on this website. Your post are offend filled with such LIES and I hope that those that read your post know that you tell LIES.
  17. Mr. Duceppe just made it clear that the BQ will protect the interest of Quebec. But there is lots of things that the BQ and Harper can work together for..one thing if you watch the debate is get to the truth about they way the liberals have been spending the money in the E.I program. That is one accept we can work with Harper and both Duceppe and Harper Hate Martin and the Liberals, that is another thing we can work on. Remember it was Duceppe at one moment in the debate that said to Harper "You will have to deal with me"
  18. I agree Duceppe was the overall winner. He dominated throughtout the debate and attack Martin mainly. He also attakced Layton and Harper. I think it was good he attacked Layton, he trys to pretent that the NDP and the Bloc have things in common, that is not true. It is also good that Duceppe attacked Harper when he had to, so that he will know that we will work with him but we will stand firm to fight for the interest of Quebec. It was bad that they had to read the statements.
  19. My fav. line Duceppe: Mr. Martin how much money is in the E.I program? Martin: Let me make this clear.......Blah Blah Blal Duceppe: How much money is in the program? Martin: Blah..Blah..Blah..Blah Martin could not answer the question and that is what most Quebecors saw.
  20. Duceppe easily won. By far he was the strongest leader with the best overall message.Paul Martin looked like a fool when he lashes out his arms like he does. A big Bully. What is he a seal? It is even worse when he holds out his hand as if to say "Don't go there." Over animated and over stated physically. He looks beleaguered and angry all the time. So far I am scoring it #1 Duccepe #2/3 Harper & Layton tied #4 Martin ( a distant fourth) . Harper looks very Conservative and moderate. He does not lash out or overstate himself physically and often avoids yelling matches. For those who were listen to the English translator. He was very soft and sirine. It is however hard to get the full context of his message when you listen to people bicker through translators, which is exactly what is happening. I think Layton was holding himself really well. Layton is also remained calm and not overstating himself physically when he spoke. I also notice Jack is finally figuring out that he won’t win votes from Conservatives; he will win them from Liberals. Most of his attacks seem directly aimed at Paul Martin and the Liberal credibility. He has emphasized again and again that Paul Martin habitually breaks promises and provides funding for his friends vs regular Canadians. I look forward to the debate tomorrow in English. Paul Martin is loosing this debate badly and everyone is taking deep shots at him!
  21. But we can support a party that will form the government. The BQ will hold the balance of power and will put the interest of Quebec first. Martin as not answered one question Duceppe as asked him. The BQ will make sure that Martin will not form the next government.
  22. I just watched a little bit of the english translation and I think those who are watching it are not be served well. The translators are not translating the quality of the debate. Three of the translators seems to have problems keeping up with the Leaders. Its seeems to be a diservice to english speakers. This is how i feel when there is an all english program.
  23. Are you watching the English subtext with translators or are you watching the French one? Because if you are watching the French one Layotn does not seem giving concrete answer thats consern his policies. Harpers french is lesser then the other three, but he to me and french is my first lanuage and i use it everyday, he his getting out his points and his polices when Martin is not cutting in. It is clear to all those that speak french the Duceppe as dominated the debate from the start and Martin as been on the defensive from the start. Duceppe right now to me at least is winning the debate.
