  1. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/sh...ows/choice2004/ good site to make up your mind. enjoy.
  2. issues to think about when voting for bush. economy, education, envoirment, civil rights of american citizens, prescription drugs, the hunt for Osama bin Laden, nation-building in Afghanistan, war and occupation in Iraq.
  3. i am 2 cheap to buy and music or books. Any other way i can read it?? Going to the library is not an option.
  4. http://www.nytimes.com/2004/08/27/politics...pagewanted=2&hp what a shock. Top us general sanchez gave the order for torture or should i say " harsh tactics". Same things going on today in gitmo and afghanistan. Question is how long before anyone of us gets picked up by the us army in suspision of being involved in president kennedy's assasination. Is left naked in a dark cell with hot and cold temprature and then guard dogs are brought in. How long will it take for you to confess?
  5. when you think that things cant go anymore low. They go really low. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...id=540&ncid=716
  6. http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/st...1275478,00.html things that are being done in the name of freedom. To be or not to be is the question.
  7. voting for anyone but bush, whos the other guy? reason starting a war with no end.
  8. Pakistan has been left alone because it has nuclear weapons. North Korea has "real wmds". They too have been left alone. Saddam had no wmds and that’s why he was attacked. Cheap oil and reconstruction projects. 1000 US soldiers and 15000 Iraqi died because of these two reasons. When a judge asked a bank robber why did he rob a bank? He replied “that’s where the money is your honor
  9. A kangaroo court is trying to provide the illusion of justice. A nephew of chalabi is running the circus or court if you want to call that name. A us navy admiral in polo t shirt directing the “Iraqi judge” at Iraqi arraignment. It’s hard to say if this is justice or comedy, maybe a lil of both or just one. Why not bring saddam to a us court or the international court. I guess we all know the answer to that. He is not the only criminal who should be put on trial.
  10. more moral superiority. Check it out http://www.nytimes.com/2004/06/22/politics/22ABUS.html
  11. On one side we have turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan and Indonesia to name a few, who have concentrated on advances in science and technology. All of them are majority secular liberal nations and on the road to being a developed welfare state for there citizens. On the other hand we have Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia who are still backward and there citizens are living in the stone ages. They have a lot to do to improve on human rights, open un-censored media, personal freedom of individuals. All of them are being ruled by dictators who cannot provide good administration. It doesn’t help the ordinary democracy loving moderate Muslim in these countries to raise his voice to fight for his liberation when his government can pick him up without a warrant and make him disappear for ever. All these backward doctorial nations are being aided by America (tax payer money in good use, other than Syria). The other question that also arises is what is wrong with America (why aid them to squash freedom and democracy)? Never underestimate the power of the mighty dollar. On a different note the Palestinians are suffering to a degree because of the incompetence, backwardness and military weakness of these countries. It was no act of luck that Pakistan was able to push a super power Russia out of Afghanistan. That country paid attention to educational, scientific and military development (just like Israel). On the other hand all these backward nations have seen the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by the hands of Zionist Jews for a very long time and have not been able to stop it. The answer lies in being the other way and end the suffering of there citizens and people surrounding them.
  12. http://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/26/politics.../26ABUS.html?hp well you wanted links to prove abuse--you got it also check www.pbs.org and there program frontline. enjoy
  13. red cross blasted afghanistan iraq and guantanomo. They have witnessed abuse at all three places
  14. Little overboard is a cute term. They have always been a lil overboard. Look at history little overboard with the red indians and then the blacks. List goes on and on but nothing to it. What i dont understand is how can some one who kills others with such ease can turn around and claim to be a humane. 55,00 death certificates issued in iraq this year for deaths due to unnatural causes. Who killed them. try reading the new york times, washington post, time magazine, the guardian, the village voice, bbc or yahoo's full coverage news. Give these sources a lil time and if you still cant find related news ill be more than glad to give you specific links. yes the red cross gave the conditions in iraq, afghanistan and guantanomo bay an A+. wait for the new pics to come out. Members of congress have already seen it.
  15. Maybe you dont read the news but if you followed the detentions in america of hundred of muslims after 911. Not one of them was a suspect related to terrorism. It was the offical policy in all the detention centers to physically abuse them. 95% of the people in guantanamo bay cuba have nothing to do with al qaeda over 1000 have been released already and those who have been released have reported physical abuse. US army is investigating prisoner deaths in afghanistan and iraq. Rapes have been reported and photographed but you consider this low level stuff. What is high level stuff to you?
  16. America promised prosperity, gave $86 billion of tax payer money to Halliburton yet everything is destroyed in Iraq. America promised Real freedom, but we see people in Iraq Afghanistan and Guantanamo bay tortured, murdered, raped and you name it in the name of freedom. New picture images shown to members of congress on May 12 include images of a man banging his head into a wall over and over, until the man collapses and passes out to escape torture. And that another picture reportedly showed an Iraqi boy being raped by a private contractor hired by the U.S. military. If this is the moral high ground you are talking about I am very proud we have it. All this is not a shortcut of ideals but an old policy already used in Afghanistan and Guantanamo bay. I just love the term “harsh tactics”. It has such a sweet vibe with it.
  17. Murder, rape, torture, biting by dogs of naked inmates, sexual assault on underage male prisoners is nothing serious. They are just harsher tactics to get time senstive information from prisoners in a occupied country that was inavded by america becuase Saddam had a human rights abuse problem. Rest easy all--its all good.
  18. torture, rape and murder in the name of freedom. Godblessamerica.
  19. that is if us has any credibility to begin with-lol
  20. usa should take its time to torture civilians in iraq. good going. keep up the good work http://www.newyorker.com/fact/content/?040510fa_fact
