If scientific reality has a left wing bias in your opinion its because the right wing alternate reality isn't applicable to the real world. Statements like Stockwell Day former Prime Minister for the right that Humans once co-existed with dinosaurs are pretty evident. It wouldn't be so frightening if this guy weren't in such a high position of power rather than being some hick in the bible belt posting on conservapedia.

Its like the Canadian government wants Canada to head in the direction of Saudi Arabia in terms of trying to squelch science that could show the faults of their agenda. It's a pretty sad state of things. You have Europeans making great science projects like CERN, while the Canadian government is merely concerned with corporate profiteering. http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/national/Scientists+protest+deteriorating+conditions+Canada/8919493/story.html

Then that tells us that our economic model is completely unsustainable. We need to make an economic model based on ecology. The alternative is we produce too many people who have a miserable life like in Egypt. I don't really see how its unfeasible though economically to have a stable population. It may lessen economic growth, but so what?

jbg of course it isn't civil to post about global warming. Civility means ignoring probably the most important ongoing event on the planet just like your hero. -

I think those from the University of Lethbridge should read the latest finds of those from the University of Manitoba. http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~altemey/ -

Looking at the threads, most of them are just a few lines with a link. I provided a few lines and 4 links and my posts get deleted. I think its pretty obvious that the deletions are based on the political prejudices of the moderators under such circumstances. -

It was a new thread, which was deleted on the federal politics forum. So I posted the thread again on the Science Forum and it was deleted again. -

No kidding. I`m insulted and everyone here was just insulted. What an arrogant mod. I`ve never encountered anything like this on any forum before. -

The only reason there's laws against growing tobacco at home is because the governments are in the pockets of Big Tobacco. Although there is everything wrong about this, the biggest problem I have is the assault on Canadian sovereignty. Why the hell did Canada allow a Canadian citizen to be sent to a U.S. prison in the first place?
