I'm in no way demanding a more religious society. I'm demanding nothing at all. I wish to have more input on policy just like any other group would want and get. My input on policy is that I would like to see more of a morally positive stance on social issues for example, which I don't see how that can be a bad thing. Harsher penalties for criminal acts and build more prisons if necessary. These scum bags must not be getting out on bail after committing violent or drug related crime. Society must be protected from this scum.

If the Coalition votes down Harper's very reasonable budget in JAnuary, Harper will ask for an election and he'll get it. Then the voters will punish the Liberals and NDP for being so partisan. Harper will have his majority as the public doesn't trust the Liberals and NDP to not form a Coalition with the Bloc. Ignatieff knows this and they'll support Harper's budget.

I quite agree with you on the first point but it isn't only homosexuals who are purposely infecting other homosexuals but those gay persons who are wanting to get infected with HIV, which I find even more disturbing.

I won't argue with a fellow Tory, we have a much more dangerous common enemy, the secular socialist. I also support a longer decision period as you do. That's right, only ONCE in Canada's history has the GG not listened to the PM. I doubt the GG would go against Harper, no chance. The PM has consulted with the opp parties the matter of the budget. Ignatieff will vote with the Tories anyways. The budget is very reasonable and it'll be an election if Harper is defeated as the GG is getting an advance copy of it so she can review it before the vote.
